Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 28 Apr 2019, 05:23

Good morning.

Gorgeous again. 8-) 8-)

We're going over at noon to see mum and dad who are taking us out for lunch to the Tudor Rose. It'll be a proper English Sunday roast and as I've not had one for about two years I'm really looking forward to it. :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Going to be a very pleasant and warm day 8-) 8-)

Enjoy lunch Ally :Hi: :Hi:

We're going on a jolly 8-) Not gone to this car boot before, as it's an hours drive  but it's also where we bought the outside chairs and table from and I've ordered more cushions. So we're picking them up and as there is a car boot/junk sale at the same time, we can have a wander around. it will be full of English   so will be walking around with our heads down

Few beers and a bbq later :D

Hope SIL is better today Osc xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

I love a roast that I don't have to cook myself Ally :D xxx

Have a good time at the car boot Jan 8-) xxx

It's turned cold and windy here - yuck! :? We'll be out in a while for our usual Sunday newspapers and cuppa, then we need a deeper pot for one of the little palms we have, as its roots are outgrowing the old one, so B&Q afterwards.

Thinking of bangers and mash later, using the quorn sausages I have in the freezer. We really like them 8-) Plenty of stuff on the player for later, and if course The Durrells tonight - my beloved Corfu :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Enjoy your lunch All and the car boot Jan.
Kaz, the first foreign holiday me and MrsC went on was to Kavos in Corfu, in 1982. In those days it only had two discos! Great beach and very quiet, it was.
There are going to be six of us plus baby plus dog for Sunday dinner, so it will be a bit of a madhouse but very sociable.
It is a nice morning here and a bit warmer and drier than yesterday.
Have a good day all.

What a waste of a journey  :cute: :cute:

He'd made the wrong shape cushions, but we had them anyway, they'll fit.

But the car boot - absolute tat     Wilting shrubs, rusty tools, old and scuffed shoes :o

But I gave him a box of books and he let me have any of my choice of his, so came away with 6 good one's 8-)

Hope you're enjoying the marathon Saundra :) xx

Crommers, I think it's my favourite place, of all the holidays we've had! We first went in 2012, not long after my parents died. I knew they'd had a couple of holidays in Corfu, in the '80s, and had really loved it, so when Mick suggested a much-needed break, that's where I chose to go 8-) :) xx

Afternoon all, it is overcast here but thankfully not as cold as yesterday. We went out to a nearby shopping centre so Edward could buy a cover for the phone he bought yesterday. I had checked the shopping centre website which said the phone accessories shop was open today (our local one was closed) but when we got there, it was closed  However when we got back here, the local one was open although they didn’t have what Edward wanted, new stock due on Tuesday. But the guy said he would have a look at the dead phone in the meantime. We came home and I cleared the pile of ironing before having my lunch, so I will maybe read my book this afternoon.
