Are we bonkers or what

Grumpy strimmed down the drive, I strimmed down the track, strimmed the middle drive towards the battery store, strimmed by next doors fence - the nice one's ;)

Got half way back up the drive and I just had to stop :o :o I looked a couple of times to see how much I had to do, but had to stop.

Trudged back to the house and downed a bottle of water in about one go    Finished off the drive up and then cleaned my strimmer - I'm a good person like that 8-)

It was very hot and although I'd put on sun cream, my face was red hot  And I was wearing a mask

Grumpy had the bright idea of going down the bar for a coffee and water. I decided beer, so that's where we've been for a couple of hours

Not doing anything else this afternoon, it's too hot and I want to buy myself a wide brimmed hat for being outside in the sun.

Molly has caught a snake  and won't let us near her to rescue it  Think it's dead, so hopefully hasn't/won't bite her.

Evening all :) Sorry to be so late today, but I rushed out just after 9 to get the bus to my WE meeting, and only got home about half an hour ago! It was the belated birthday afternoon tea, in Lily's, for three of us helpers who had "big" birthdays this Spring - I was 60, Em turned 50 earlier this month, and Jan was 80! :D

Very nice food, in lovely surroundings BUT they charged us for our second lot of tea, which considering we paid £13.50 pp, for the six of us, we thought was a little stingy :?
