Good morning.

Hot and sunny. 8-)

Dia del trabajador so a holiday. :D :D

I'm nipping over to see my folks then back to have a swim and laze by the pool with a book. :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Misty at the moment but we are expecting another rather warm day 8-)

Labour day here too, so just about everything shut. But the supermarket and the big Chinese shop will be open and that's where we're heading later.

Might venture into the pool - the surface temperature is a steady 24C now. Hate to think what it is at the middle and bottom though

Will do a bbq later, after a visit to the bar.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all. We have got a little bit of that Iberian warmth today here too. Just a bit mind!
Shortly MrsC and I will be taking Cheerful Charlie Chester to Aldi.
After that probably a restful day because we are baby sitting all tomorrow.
Have a good day all.

Good morning, it is a much brighter morning here although I don’t know if it is much warmer. Gym this morning, maybe a cuppa afterwards in the cafe, then home here for the rest of the day - we decided to leave the supermarket shop till tomorrow as we won’t have the children because we had them on Monday. Lots I could do, but it remains to be seen how much will get done ;)

Morning all

Cruiser; Mrs E is doing really well - that's fantastic!
Ally enjoy your day - sounds bliss
Jan, fab a BBQ. When does the BBQ (ie outside fire) season end?
Crommers and Osc enjoy your respective days
Saundra; hope you feel better soon... cold and hayfever never a good combination; you poor thing!

A bright morning here but still very nippy; the mornings I could do with my warmer jacket but then come hometime it's too warm so I think it's easier to just struggle for a bit in the mornings. I think it's going to be a usual/usual today but I may end up meeting Nadine for a quick bite to eat at lunch time. She's having her hair done and depending on what time she finishes she'll contact me and we'll play it by ear.

Have a lovely day everyone x

Warming up nicely now and the washing machine is on again  The pile of ironing is mountainous

We debated before going in to maybe leave the shopping until tomorrow, as I had an e-mail from the supermarket to say no iva today and as it's a holiday, thought it would be busy.

But we went. And it was

But bought a lovely floppy hat for outside work and also topped up with petrol, as there may be another strike by the delivery drivers by the week-end.

Popped in for a coffee on the way back and Grumpy was joking with Odette about brandy, so she poured a large measure in his cup of coffee :o   And wouldn't charge :D

Ria, the critical period varies for the start and finish, depending on the weather. But looks like we're in for a long and very hot summer, so probably by the middle or end of June.

Going to plant a small tree later :Hi:

Morning all :D

Nice and bright again.

Hope you feel better soon Saundra, take it easy x

The cinema was packed yesterday, the film is set to become the biggest box office hit yet. I loved it, came away feeling very emotional and slightly traumatised, a huge success

Not a lot happening here, stripped the spare room bed and got the sheets in the washing machine. Thinking of strolling over to the garden centre later.

Have a good day :D

Afternoon all, it's dull here and feels a bit humid.

I've been to town to do a bit of shopping. I'd already walked Bill before that but I might get him out again shortly as we're forecast rain for later this afternoon. Both lads are off to work around 5. It's John's birthday today so we'll have a nice meal and I've bought a cake. We'll all go out for dinner on Saturday as it falls in between John's and Joe's birthdays, his is next week.

Saundra, I keep getting alerts that the pollen count is high so that's possibly not helping you very much.

Have a good day all!
