Morning Ally, morning everyone

Lovely morning here too 8-)

Woken this morning to the sound of a cat being sick   Only a couple of times and she's now out and eating grass, so hope she's okay. Bit weird, as she was in all night.

Flan making this morning for me and Grumpy will be doing the pool as there are bits I just can't do.

Down to the bar later, hope to catch the veg van, as I need/would like tomatoes. Ours are still in flower

Hope Osc had a better night and is feeling better this morning.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

As ever I'm jealous of the good weather you two have.
A sunny morning here but bright.
Son in law went on a "stag weekend" on thursday to Portugal, he gets back on Monday. What is it with stag dos these days? Tripping off merrily for days at a time. He's got a wife and young daughter, he's 35. I think they all want to be teenagers until they are 50 nowadays. I'm not impressed at all.
So we'll be going up sometime today.
Have a good day all.

Portugal Jan! I don't know where though.
Saundra, I know. Spending so much money when you have an expensive wedding coming up? I wouldn't have been impressed either.
Enjoy the cycling btw!

Good morning all, it's beautifully sunny here but quite chilly.

We're waiting for the local hospice shop to collect some furniture today, they're coming sometime between 9 and 3. I could do with popping to Tesco at some point. We're all out for dinner tonight for John and Joe's birthdays, Joe's picked Cosmo at Wolverhampton. It's a buffet restaurant and all of the kids his age seem to love it

Not sure what Tom and Shannon have planned for today, I think they'll be taking it easy though. They got back from London last night and Shannon headed straight to bed when they got in. Apparently they'd walked five miles. 5 whole miles  Tom's used to it and will walk miles but she's one of those kids who's been driven everywhere.
Incidentally, I'd walked 3 miles by 8.30am this morning :P

Crommers, when our neighbours got married I was invited to the hen nights. It turned out that she had a night out for work friends, another for local friends, one which was a long weekend in Liverpool and a fourth which was five days in Marbella. She's in the 40s btw.
I think so much of it is done for show now, just like the weddings that follow.

Have a good day all!

Crommers I think that's it in a nutshell, they don't grow up like we had to :?

Fame at last, eh Saundra? :D xx

Have a great evening Jo :)

Well I've been to the SW meeting, on my own as B is working, but it wasn't good news so I really shouldn't have bothered   :cute: Now out drowning my sorrows with a turkey club sandwich for brunch :?  :D Off to D's soon, then need a few bits from Sainsbury's that I forgot on Thursday  It's very sunny here, but blooming freezing!!

Have a good day everyone :) xx

It's madness Crommers, what happened to a night out with friends

How are you feeling today Osc?

More washing on the go. Also plan to start going through the list of stuff needed for our holibobs, first aid, toiletries, sunscreen and so on. There's bound to be something out of date or forgotten.

Have a good day :D
