Good Morning Sunday

Postby Kaz » 05 May 2019, 07:38

Morning all :)

Up early here as Mick gives B a lift to work when she works Sundays, as the bus service isn't brilliant at weekends. Mick and I have an invite to Sunday lunch at D's as Jeff and Jayne are up for the weekend, for the final Gloucester rugby match of the season yesterday. Looking forward to it as D is a great cook, and her slow roast brisket is on the menu 8-) 8-)

Mick is going to paint a bit more of the garden fence before we go, he started last week but had to leave it as the rainy weather started. Today is forecast dry though 8-) I repotted our little palm tree yesterday, as it was getting too big for the old one, and put some more geraniums in, so once the fence is done it will be looking nice out there :) Think I'll strip the bed and hoover the bedroom while M's busy, saves doing it tomorrow ;)

Ally, wishing your mum and dad a safe flight home today! Hugs ((((x))))

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning Kaz, Cruiser and everyone

Rather grey here  but it looks as if the clouds are beginning to break up and it should be a lovely, warm day :D

Safe journey to your mum and dad Ally xx

Pootling for us, we need to do the middle drive and I'll carry on until my back tells me to stop.

Lunch sounds rather nice Kaz :D

Normal Sunday bbq later 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all, it's quite bright here although not especially warm.

I've walked Bill, John's gone for a bike ride and Joe's gone to work. Shannon's up and ready and Tom's still in bed. I'm not sure what plans they have for today. I've got some ironing to do and I'll hoover through too this morning.

We had a lovely night out last night, it was a lot of fun. We've been to a few local buffet restaurants that the boys have wanted to go to over the years and the food has been okay at them but nothing really to write home about the food last night was really good with an excellent choice.

Kaz, I'm looking forward to getting our fence replaced and then painted. I can work on the garden after that and really sort out the side which the fence is on. There's not a border as such there at the moment, just a few inches of gravel between the lawn and the fence panels so I'm looking forward to digging it out and getting some plants for it.

Cruiser, I did our lawns yesterday - it was lovely when I started and just as I was doing the last side a hail storm came out of nowhere.

I can't believe your parents are heading back already Al, I hope they managed to have a good time after the dreadful start and that your Dad is much better now xx

Have a good day all!

Send Mick up here Kaz, our fence needs doing too! :)
I'm glad you enjoyed your night out Jo and enjoy the bbq Jan. It's a bit chilly for a bbq here right now. We are having the same weather as Cruiser.
Safe travels to your mum and dad Ally.
Daughter, baby, dog, son and his gf are coming for Sunday dinner. We need a few bits before they get here, we weren't expecting all of them.
Motorbike racing this afternoon and an early night I think.
Have a good day everyone.

Afternoon all :D

A lot brighter than yesterday, but still not particularly warm. We were sat in the garden enjoying the sun this time last year.

Safe flight to your parents Ally.

We've had a lovely long lie in, not much happening here, roast chicken for dinner later. Choccy blancmange with orange jelly for pud.

Have a good day :D

Good afternoon all.

It's quite pleasant here today. We have had an hour or so in the garden, putting in a few new plants.
I expect we will be watching the Snooker on the telly this afternoon. We do enjoy it.

Hope you are all feeling fine.

Afternoon all, it started out a lovely day, but then clouded over completely. We were up later than usual as we had a late night last night. We’ve been for a 2 hour walk, I wasn’t too keen as I was very tired and still not feeling 100%, but ended up really enjoying it, it was cool enough but nice for walking. We’ve had lunch, and I have changed the bed, and hopefully I’ll tick a few things off my holiday list as the day goes on. Looking forward to the final Line of Duty tonight!
