Good Morning Monday

Postby JanB » 06 May 2019, 06:36

Morning everyone

Another grey start to the day. Yesterday got rather warm - as my slightly charred back will confirm  - but the forecast for the next few days is a lot of cloud. Quite warm, but cloudy

Pootling inside first thing, then I'll head outside to go some gardening. Will have another go at the bank as well, but will wear trainers this time. Banks and flip-flops do not go together

Thoughts very much with Ally and her family today xx

Have as good a day as you can everyone xx

Morning Jan, and everyone xxx

It's sunny here, not sure if it's warmed up a bit yet or not :? We'll be out in a while to enjoy the sunshine anyway - B has the day off so will probably join us :)

Thinking of Ally and her family today, as I know we all are (((((((Ally)))))))

Love to all xxxxx

Morning all, it’s quite sunny here.

We have no plans at the moment although I’m currently following Billy as he leads me on a very long walk (but he’s being forgiven as I can see he’s leading us to a bluebell wood). Tom’s at work later and Joe’s going to Amanda’s. Getting out of the village is going to involve quite a detour for him today though as the A34 heading towards Stafford and the lane to get there the back way are both closed so that a winding wheel which is from the pit can be moved back to our estate and be placed in the memorial garden which is being built. Both wheels have been standing at the base of the one remaining pit mound which has already been made into a lovely yet very hilly walk.

My love and thoughts are very much with Ally and her family today xx

Love to all xx

Good morning, it's a better day here, much sunnier.
We need to edge the lawn and buy some kitchenware today.
Thoughts are with Ally and her family.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning all, it looks quite pleasant out there. My first job today is to wash the car and vacuum the inside, as it has its NCT (MOT) tomorrow. Then I have a big pile of ironing to tackle, and I’ll keep working through stuff on my list. Ally has been on my mind so much, she must be so shocked and devastated.

Afternoon all :D

Bit brighter today, but a tad chilly  We had bright sunshine this time last year.

Thinking of Ally and family xxx

We're being really lazy again, bit of washing, bit of house stuff and that's about it.

Have a good day :D

Both jiggered   Really went at the bank and filled loads of buckets of weeds, grasses. Got rather warm too, so after backache called it off, we went down to the bar

What was really funny, we were chucking the weeds over onto the field, as we have sheep still. A couple of them found the weeds and then they were all calling to each other.

Imagine over 50 sheep, charging up from the other end of the field    thundering they were  and still calling to each other. Bluddy hilarious   I told them they'll have to wait for a day or so, as my back needs a rest.

We did most of the bank, I'll finish it off on Wednesday.

Pasty and chips for dinner, with onion gravy, made with our own onions :Hi: :Hi:

Oh and congratulations to the new parents, Grumpy has just turned the news on :D
