Good Morning Thursday

Postby JanB » 23 May 2019, 07:00

Morning everyone

Got the day right this morning   And a lovely morning it is 8-) although with a brisk breeze, which make it feel a little cooler, which is good, as we're heading for high 20's today, maybe even 30C 8-)

Off in about an hour. But I banged a big toe last night, blood everywhere    . As long as I wear flip-flops, I'll be okay.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

It's sunny here :) Going out to vote shortly, then shopping with D. Pilates tonight, first time in a few weeks as Steph has been on holiday. Hoping Emma will be back too.

Morning all, it's sunny and warm here. It's been quite cool first thing all week so I wore my normal coat when walking Bill and soon regretted it!

I'm waiting for a parcel to come, it was sent first class yesterday so possibly won't show up just yet. I'm going to crochet a throw for on the armchair as it's in the sun for much of the day and I'm worried it'll fade. I saw this https://attic24.typepad.com/weblog/woodland-blanket.html and thought the colours would go perfectly in here so I've ordered the wool for it.

Joe has no work or college today, Tom's working later and John's hoping to be home from Sunderland this evening.

My plans for this evening are to watch the final episode of The Big Bang Theory. I've loved that show so much, one of the highlights of my life is going onto the set when we did a studio tour in LA. I have no idea what the guide was saying, all I could think was "that's Sheldon's apartment!!!!"

Really pleased to read that Mrs E is doing well!

Have a good day all!

Morning all - a lovely glorious sunny morning here as well and I'm stuck in the office - boo hiss!!!! Oh well; someone has to work to pay the bills and the cats just won't volunteer :D

Your days all sound a rather pleaseant mix of pootling about; enjoy it.

Jo, TBBT seems to be on continuous loop in my brothers house; I'm not sure how often they've watched all the series :D

Well, sort of usual usual for me - usual work day yes but having nails done this evening.

Have a lovely day everyone xx

Good morning all, it is a dull day here. Thursday so we have the children, although it feels like the third Thursday this week as we have had them Tuesday and Wednesday as well, because the childminder is away. While out collecting Kellie, I need to pop into the hairdresser and make an appointment for next week, and also buy a few bits and pieces in the shop. This afternoon, I am bringing Kellie to a speech therapy appointment, she sometimes has trouble saying two consonants together - it is not a major problem and she is a very articulate little girl. Nobody was worried about it, but the health nurse recommended that Miss Osc follow through, because if she didn’t and an issue arose later on, she would struggle to get an appointment. Right, better get on with tidying up.

The drive down and back was easy peasy, not a lot of traffic about. Even the 125 wasn't too busy.

Rather warm now, with a lovely, cooling breeze 8-)

Toe throbbing

Joe had speech therapy for a time for the same reason! He was quite a late talker, I think Tom took the roll on of being his spokesperson and Joe being Joe, let him get on with it. He's certainly made up for it since though.
