Good Morning Tuesday

Postby JoM » 28 May 2019, 06:09

Good morning all, it's quite sunny after a rainy night.

I'm out with Bill at the moment and off to Stafford when I get back.

Have a good day all!

Morning Jo, morning everyone

Sunny with a cooling breeze. Will be a lot warmer later 8-)

This mornings plan was to be up at 6.30 and Grumpy out rendering at 7.00. I was going to do the cleaning before heading off down to the bar for some fresh rolls. However, being woken up at 1.30 this morning and having a dog barking almost constantly since, made going back to sleep almost impossible. I tried ringing their phones, but one was turned off and the other one, they didn't answer.

So words will be had later :cute: :cute: :cute:

I'll still do the cleaning and still will go down to the bar for rolls, but it will be too hot for rendering soon. And he's got his grumpy head on anyway, so would make a hash of it

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Jo, our weather is the same :)

Jan that is just totally unacceptable! :x I hope you can get it sorted :( xxxx

Back to normal here, after a lovely BH weekend :) I need to get lots of walking in this week, to work off some calories  ;) I'm popping into town first, to pick up some socks from M&S for D, then having lunch with her, then home again. I have bedding to iron at some point. Ugh, I hate ironing :cute:

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Words have been said.

I was ultra polite, she was very defensive and then aggressive. I asked for the dog to be kept away from our house at night, as we are having a lot of trouble sleeping. All she said was that there was a fox around and the dog was down by the hen/house. So why, I asked, was the dog barking at the fence, nearest to us.

Well, I could hear dogs last night she said, over there. Yes, I replied, far enough away for the noise not to be intrusive.

Three of the dogs were at the fence with her, one was trying to get over the fence and the other two were barking :cute: :cute:

I said that all we want is to be able to sleep at night and for the dog to be kept away from the fence at night. And she couldn-t answer when I said that when they have paying guests, the dogs are kept quiet.

I also said that Keith was all for going to see the GNR this morning. Just shows they have no knowledge of the noise laws, as she said that the dogs have all the licences needed.

We-ll see what happens for the next few nights.

Morning all, it is mixed sun and clouds here - we had a lot of rain yesterday evening. I have a long to-do list today - bring winter duvet to be laundered (I bit the bullet and put on the summer one  ), bring my new evening dress to be taken up, collect a prescription, and do the supermarket shop, then home to iron the bedding I got dry yesterday. Kaz I don’t mind ironing too much but I hate sheets and duvet covers

Jan, that is very inconsiderate. She just appears to be "one of those".

Saundra, tea and kit kats here for you, any time ;) :D

Jan, she sounds very unreasonable! I would definitely report it, if it continues xx

Osc, they're just so big, and awkward, aren't they?
