Good Morning Friday

Postby JanB » 07 Jun 2019, 06:46

Morning everyone

A lovely sunny morning, but with a chill in the air, but will warm up later. Although it clouds over in the afternoon and feels chilly then too

Just having a coffee before doing the watering, then breakfast. I have a pile of washing to do - the clothes that Grumpy found he can still get into   - so that will be done in between the pulling up of the tall grasses by the car port.

Footie tonight, although I'll probably sit outside and read.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Jan, I hope it stays warm for you :) Poor Grumpy ;)

Busyish day today, I need a few bits in town, then housework to do here, and presents to wrap for Poppy tomorrow - can't believe she's a year old already! It will be an earlyish start tomorrow, about 9, to get down to Weymouth by lunchtime, picking D up first of course :) Looking forward to seeing everyone, and getting some sea air 8-) Jeff and Jayne (the in-laws) offered to put us up overnight, but we can't leave the dogs! Sue next door is going to pop in a couple of times during the day, to let them down the garden, and check their water bowl.

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all, it is a nice bright morning here. I am plagued with sinusy stuff at the moment, it makes me feel sluggish and tired. Gym this morning, nothing special planned for the rest of the day. Edward is going to play golf, looks like he will finish before the rain that is forecast to arrive this afternoon. Football tonight, so we won’t be going dancing ;)

We had some rain last night :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

I've just made a curry for tomorrow night

The wind is getting a little warmer, so I'll head outside soon.

Grumpy has enough clothes to open a shop - I'm not buying him anything else :cute: :cute:

Osc, I'm the same - getting through a lot of tissues

Good morning all!

I took Billy for an extra long walk this morning as it doesn't look very hopeful for him getting out later but having said that it was forecast to start raining around 8am and three hours later, apart from a bit in the air, it's not yet started. I've got plenty to keep me occupied and John said that I need to sit down and binge watch The Virtues but I can't really be bothered with anything on ITV with the ads, even fast forwarding through them is a pain.

I've got some Amazon parcels coming. There were also a couple of things coming via Royal Mail, some cable ties for John and some dental powder for Billy, and they've just arrived which has made Bill happy. He loves the postman and always gets a huge fuss off him

It's Amanda's 18th birthday today. Poor girl has work and college, and then Joe has work so they won't see each other until tomorrow but then they're off for a night out in Birmingham and they've booked themselves a hotel too so haven't got to worry about getting home. Joe's bought her a lovely Pandora bracelet, not a charm one though. He made me laugh last week, he walked in the living room with his iPad and said "You're a woman. Help!" and thrust the iPad, open at the Pandora page, at me for my opinion  He wanted to know if the one he'd chosen was okay. It must be love, he's wrapped her presents in birthday wrapping paper rather than the random Christmas paper that's kept in the airing cupboard

Kaz, where has that year gone? Have a lovely day tomorrow! It's been some years since I've been to Weymouth but we had some fantastic family holidays there when we were growing up, with cousins and aunts and our Nan.

Saundra I hope Iona's ok today xx

Have a good day all xx

Morning all :D

Wet and miserable here

Had a really long lie in, the longest since we got back from our holiday, things are definitely back to normal

Too miserable to go out, stripped the beds and got the washing on and that's about it for today.

Have a good day :D

Greetings all - can't even say good morning any more; oops

Jan; poor Grumpy - buy the man some clothes :D :D :D
Kaz hope you get everything done and safe travels for tomorrow
Saundra; glad to hear Iona is making her way home; she'll be much happier to be in her own bed I'm sure
Jo, that made me laugh with the wrapping paper, it really must be love :D bless them
Osc, hope the sinus's clear up soon - it's been a really bad year for hayfever
Jen, a lie in sounds perfect. During the week when the alarm goes off I'd kill for a few extra hours in bed. Yet come the weekend - I'm awake and raring to go at the same time as the alarm would have gone off. :D

Busy Friday today, but lunch due in about 15 / 20 mins :D - Indian today. A bit later than normal but it's a large order for 16 people so.

Have a lovely day all x
