Afternoon all - we had a long lie in this morning (for us) which must have been needed! Got up about 9.30, had breakfast, got ready and went out to Dalton Park, an out of town shopping outlet about half an hour away. I haven't mentioned this before but Tom got over £3.5k recently from a PPI claim and it landed in his bank yesterday so he decided he was going to treat himself to a couple of pairs of Levis jeans, which he did. We went to Thorntons for coffee and cheesecake and were going to head down to Seaham afterwards but the food festival is on today ( was cancelled yesterday due to the weather) so we went down the A19 to Crimdon beach instead and walked along there. Just lovely, if a bit breezy.

I've been pottering in the garden while he watches sport this pm, and keeping an eye on Charlie as he still needs the cone :( He has a nasty sore on his face, just below his ear and he scratches it all the time - the soft cone just isn't doing the trick sadly, he can reach it!! So the hard plastic one it is  At least the sore will have a chance to heal as he can't get to it!!

Enjoy the sunshine while you can xx
