Dinner tonight

Postby JanB » 13 Jun 2019, 18:18

was rather pleasant :D :D

Teeny tiny - and I mean teeny tiny  - chicken breasts, cooked on a bed of leeks, with creme fraiche, white wine, garlic and parsley, with steamed broccoli and green beans and tagliatelli . Some rather good olive oil drizzled over the veg and pasta.

As I said to Grumpy, he would never have eaten that, back in England 8-)

That's very nice Jan.
Here it was cottage pie with broccoli and mixed veg. Perfect for the chilly weather!

Both of yours sound lovely! We had lamb Rogan josh, courtesy of Sainsbury's, as I didn't feel like cooking! I was planning a quorn mince cottage pie, topped with half spud/ half sweet potato, but that will be tomorrow's now 8-)

I had a blow torch, chilli boost, hot sauce and flaming hot beef curry with brown rice and naans, and even that was not hot enough to keep me warm in the 9°C summer temps we are currently enjoying.... so I put the heating on: again.

Roll on October. :?
