I don't buy much make up from Boots but always get anything from Benefit from there for the points. Anyway, when I looked at the receipt there were only 88 points credited to the card (the mascara was £22) so I queried it and the assistant said she'd manually add the points on so I expected that she'd add 212 to make it up to the 300 but she didn't, she added 300 on so I ended up with £3.88 worth

That worked out well Jo 8-)

Ended up spending way too much, but it's all stuff I use and I usually stock up on the 3for2's so won't be buying any more for some months. Qualified for over £40 worth of points, a huge discount.

It's turned out to be a glorious day, bright sunshine and lovely and warm. We've just had a quick tidy in the garden, not too much after walking in town this morning, but enough to enjoy the sun.

That was good going Jo 8-) I bought my usual Olay Regenerist face cream in Superdrug today as it was on offer. It's gone up a LOT in price recently, but if you bought two you saved a third 8-) :) I have to be really careful with my skin, and Olay doesn't irritate it.

Wow, lovely for the pair of them Saundra, many congratulations :Hi:

Been warmer than we were expecting, so I've got a little glow on the face now   Did most of what I wanted to do outside, but the back said stop, so I did

We went down to the bar for an early beer and chatted with Asvaldo and Bertalina - both in their 80's and still getting around 8-)

Change of plan re dinner. I normally do some sort of fish for Grumpy and pasta for me, but it was chilly earlier, so I decided on steak pie, roast taters and veg, with onion gravy. Proper English

England are playing Argentina later, will try and stay awake for that ;)

Oh, and we also put the screening up around the pool, to stop nosy prat staring. Stained the wood a darker colour and have new bamboo, looks rather good :Hi:
