Good morning Wednesday

Good morning everybody,

It is sunny with a few wispy clouds. Out shopping and then more gardening. The weeds have grown faster than the flowers.
Have a good d ay everybody

Morning Cruiser, morning all :)

Cruiser you're right about the weeds, although my pots and hanging baskets are also looking amazing, due to all the rain. Every cloud, and all that ;)

It's grey here, we had more rain overnight, but it looks better for the end of the week - fingers crossed! Meeting a friend in town, then will pop in and see D on the way home. A pile of ironing awaits this afternoon

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all

a dry morning and no rain predicted - yay!!!! And managed to catch a different train this morning - oh so civilised compared to yesterday; it makes the start to the day so much more pleaseant. The way home will be a different matter but I'll deal when I get there.

My garden is in a dire state; and not much I can do about it until Saturday afternoon / Sunday; and I need to get to the allotment to weed and check on things - just not enough time in the day.

Kaz and Cruiser, enjoy your respective days

Everyone else, hope you all have a good one too xxx

Morning all, it’s grey here with drizzle on and off.

I’m just on the bus on the way home from town. John’s taken a day’s holiday as the fence is being replaced. I dread to think what state my lawn will be in when they’ve finished. At least I can start planting the borders up though, I’ve had to leave them empty in readiness for this being done so I’m really looking forward to doing that :D

Have a good day all xx

It is good that you and your boys are close Saundra.
We had an early start this morning (for us). Up at half six and then up to daughters to drop MrsC off to lok after Eliza. Then daughter rang me up, her husband has taken her car key to work and can I give her a lift? After that to the supermarket. I feel like I've done a shift already!
We have had so much rain that if there is a couple of weeks of sun, every plant will shoot uo six feet!
At four I'll go back to pick daughter up, in ten minutes I'll join MrsC.
have a good day all.

Morning all...….almost

Thunder, lightening, the whole works last night, seems to be brightening now, but it's still a bit overcast.

We've had a really long lie in, bliss. E's feeling much better now, if it stays dry we might take a stroll over to the garden centre later.

Have a good day :D

Jen, the met office also had a thunder / storm warning for Surrey and Hampshire but nothing came of it - it seems the South East of the country bore the brunt of it all. Another friend who lives in Whitby was saying the thunder claps were so loud their house was rattling

Some of the keen photographers here were out in force last night Ria, there are some fantastic photo's on Fb. The thunder wasn't too loud, but the whole sky lit up every few seconds, amazing.

Afternoon all, it is nice and warm today although there is less sun now than earlier. I was busy enough this morning, I went to get my fringe trimmed, then to the post office to take out some money. Gym after that, gosh it was hot  we were all rushing to the windows for a breath of air between circuits. I’ve had lunch and in a while, I’m meeting my friend from Boston for a walk.
