Yup, you got your wish, Meds, but that's it, that's your lot for 2019. ;)

Just four no-marks left to choose from then we can all get down to bickering about Brexit again.

I think Javid might be the dark horse here.

So what? Whoever 'wins' we still have a hung parliament. We still have not got any sort of 'deal'. The numbers in parliament have not changed and the country is still divided.

The only support the 'winner' has is from the very few who voted for him and they will screw this country up big time.

So, the choice for the 160,000 Antediluvian Order of Little Englander, Empireist, dinosaur, I'm-all-right-Jack-stuff-you, white, male, WWII honour thieves, is between two oxygen thieves and wastes of rations.

No, WM wouldn't ask either of them if they had stopped beating their wives and being unkind to kittens yet.

Though it would have made a good question "Frank from Leeds wants to know why you two are such a waste of space?"

I'd love to see you on QT Frank, but I'd be worried about your blood pressure! ;)

 I have been in the audience twice but neither of my questions got picked.

Now, this BBC Director General job... I have a few ideas:

The One Show and Victoria Derbyshire Show get binned.
EastEnders gets one slot per week.
News readers do shifts just like firemen, police, nurses and for a 'reasonable' wage.
Lineker, Norton and others are offered £5 per show. If they refuse there is lots of other 'talent' to be got in.

Once those are done I can then get on to the serious stuff of de-politicising it, closing down its agenda division, removing any PC luvvies from any position of influence and cutting the outrageous wage bill.

I might not be able to give back universal free licences to the over 75s, but I could get them a huge discount.

I've been struggling to think who it is that Jeremy Hunt reminds me of.
Then it came to me - Arnold Rimmer from Red Dwarf!

Well at least I have a vote on which one is selected... I made that provision back in October as I saw this coming within the following 12 months.

I was talking to #1 daughter about the level of support for the potential candidates. When I told her Hunt was second her response was "O.M.G, not him!". She, of course, works in the NHS...

I guess we'll just have to wait till almost the parliamentary holidays to see who gets the job.

I will, however, have my say.

I had my question on QT back in the 80's. It's not all that big a deal and, essentially, nothing came of it. Other than giving Ming Campbell a platform to beat the Tories up on Student Grants.
