Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 27 Jun 2019, 05:05

Good morning.

Another blisteringly hot day on the cards. 45 degrees is hot.

After a walk and swim I'll be by the pool - I'm certainly making a dent in my pile of books that have to be read.

Have a great day everyone.

45c? Faints. Kaz, we were supposed to start off sunny. It isn't, but at least it's not raining.
Shopping in a bit after MrsC has been to the hairdressers.
Apart from that a quiet day. I hope Nanna is getting adequate pain relief.
Have a good one everybody.

Good morning all, it's sunny here.

I've walked Bill and once I've dried my hair we're going gravel shopping. Now everything else is done in the garden, it's showing the couple of patches of gravel up so we need to freshen that up. We did well at the market yesterday. There's a man who's often there, and who we've bought from before, who sells really lovely and decent sized bushes for £5 each so we bought 10 from him and I bought some more bedding plants. I got snap dragons and marigolds. With the ones that my Mom gave me at the weekend I've put around 150 in the two borders so we should have quite a good show this year.
I wasn't allowed to buy any hens.

Just heard on the news that there was another nasty accident here on the A34 yesterday evening, just as it leaves the village and enters the Chase. It's a horrible stretch of road there.

Thoughts are with Nanna xx

Have a good day all :)

Good morning, it is a lovely sunny day here although there is a cool easterly breeze, as forecast. I was very efficient earlier, stripped the bed and got the bedding into the washing machine before breakfast. So now I have to put on the fresh sheets. I’ll be collecting Kellie at 12pm, my last time collecting her from playschool as she gets her holidays tomorrow and starts big school in September  On the way back, I have a birthday card to post, and also we have to collect Michael’s bag from Miss Osc’s office, as he has tennis and football later on. Then this afternoon, I will bring him to play his tennis match, the last in a league he has been playing recently. His daddy will pick him up from here for football later. It’s all go!!

Morning all :D

Loved the film yesterday, it made me laugh and cry, everything a film should be. Couldn't believe how cold it was when we came out of the cinema though, felt like winter  Nice and bright right now thank goodness.

We're off out to do the weekly shop in the next hour or so. M&S and then Tesco, what a truly exciting life we lead

Have a good day :D
