I'm typing this on our hotel terrace looking out at the Med.

After breakfast we're going for a long walk along the coast. I just love Nerja.

Lunch and a bit of mooching and we're heading home around 5pm.

Another grey and cloudy start to the day. Blummin' cold too, at 17C But by 10.00 ish, all will be well, sunshine and blue skies

Off down to the bar soon, with the girls, to have a coffee and natter and wait for the bread man. Back to a Portuguese style breakfast, but possibly without the wine or madronia

Lazy day for them, I'll be doing the prep for the bbq tonight. Mitchell is coming round too, so should be a good laugh. having the black bean and the white bean salads, as well as lamb cutlets, entremeadas and pork loin steak, spuds.

Washing machine on, Molly is not a happy puss cat, she's not really a people person, but eRia, just a little slow this time, because of Nadine being around.

Morning all, it is mostly cloudy here but seems warm enough - Jan you do realise that for the likes of me, 17 degrees means a very good summers day?! Mostly doing stuff around the house today, trying to keep things up to date as we are expecting the builder in next week just as I am trying to prepare for our holiday. I have some clothes in packing cubes already (packing cubes always make me think of Di, it was she who told me about them) just to keep them clean and in the one place, and list making has started! Edward has gone to play golf.

Beautiful morning now, the girls are lying in the sun, with warnings from me about the strength of the Alentejana sun.

I'm heading into the pool as soon as the potatoes have finished steaming.

The bread man has changed his route and therefore his times so we missed him <Odette very kindly let me have her 3 rolls so we had breakfast as planned. Grumpy had half a glass of port with his

Off to Mitchell's this afternoon, to take his half of the ginormous stilton and some coffee, back to the bar for a beer or three, then the bbq.

We use the packing cubes too Osc, makes it so much easier, keeps everything neat and tidy. It was my sister in Oz who introduced us to them, they're especially handy when you're moving about a lot as they did last time they came over here.

Feeling a lot better this morning. Got the aqua appointment at the hospital later, bit nervous, not sure what to expect.
