Good Morning Thursday

Morning everyone

Fresh this morning, with a few fluffy clouds around, so will be a warm day later.

A lovely night, last night, I was treated, as an early birthday pressie :D and we popped in to see Sonia, for a coffee and brandy. Mitch was rather upset, as the brandy was ice cold :? but met a couple of friends in the bar when we got there, so more wine was consumed

Taking Ria and Nadine to see Vicky's place this morning, as Nadine is thinking of a family holiday somewhere locally next year, and Vicky rents out a cottage. There is also a gorgeous place opposite the bar, but that might be a bit too close to the bar

We take them to the train station this afternoon, for their hopefully on time flight back to blighty.

We'll have a bbq when we get back, to finish off the lamb and pork steaks.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Jan. I bet Ria is enjoying her stay.
A lovely morning here. Shortly off to transport FiL to a hearing aid appointment, then the rest of the day at leisure. I'm baking some breadcakes this afternoon and we'll be having a pub lunch out.
Have a nice day everyone. :)

Morning all! It's sunny here and forecast to be hot today.

There's cleaning to be done, I've walked Billy and then watered the garden once we were home. I'm also waiting for a couple of deliveries and Tom should be home around 2.30pm. Joe's just gone to Amanda's.

Have a good day all!

Morning! Another nice day here, no point in getting used to it though, as apparently a change is on the way :( Michael and Kellie were delivered here just after 9am, but were not here for long. I brought Kellie to her summer camp for 10am and Michael was collected for his soccer camp at 10.15. I will collect Kellie at 2pm and Michael will arrive back shortly after 3pm. It’s great that the weather has been so good for their camps this year. I am going to do a tidy around, and perhaps a little more preparation for our holiday. Edward is going to contact the builder tomorrow to confirm if he is coming on Monday, which will then help me plan ahead for next week. I might manage a little sunbathing time today 8-)

Morning all :D

Another bright and sunny day here 8-)

Gosh Ria's visit has gone quickly Jan, so glad you've all had a good time.

The new diabetic nurse is lovely, the first thing she said was 'well done' on my progress. She totally understands me wanting 3 monthly blood tests while I'm trying to manage the condition without meds and has adjusted my records accordingly. She feels I'm on top of things and is quite happy to see me yearly, but said to ring if my tests show a backward slide and I want to reassess the situation. Altogether a very satisfactory appointment.

Still feeling the benefit of the hydro session. We did walk round town yesterday, actually managed without the walking stick, but I was careful not to overdo it.

Off to do the weekly shop later, M&S then Tesco so fingers crossed...…..

Have a good day :D

Kaz, it's exciting isn't it!! We're going into our local bathroom place on Saturday to confirm the colour for the shower panelling and pay a deposit to get a shower put in Tom and Joe's bathroom. I can't wait to get it done, only thing is that they're now booking for October!

Good evening everybody.

Went to the dentist this morning. Our appointment was 10 40 but he was running 10 minutes late. I only went for a check up. He did a scrap and polish as I always have tarter no matter how I clean my teeth. He also took an Xray f the teeth and showed me the results on the computer. Could see the fillings which were white and the teeth are grey. He had me back on the couch as he thought there were two teeth which may have had a defect. But when he looked with his magnifying glasses he said
everything eas normal and it was only small shadows.
Have ben going to the same dentist for many years. It is now a private practice. Well worthg the money.
After lunch, went shopping at Tesco and got petrol. Then cleaned the windows on the car, watered the plants and then just pottered.
Have been relaxing since dinner. Had a salad.
The sun has gone behind clouds but it is still warm
