Good Morning Friday

Postby JanB » 05 Jul 2019, 07:04

Morning everyone

A lovely sunny morning and will be warming up quite a lot later 8-)

Washing machine on, watering done and next door have moved both dogs back into the compound near us :cute: :cute: Words will have to be said again :?

Grumpy is going to do some work on his new store room and I'll be cleaning and hanging out washing  Also need to make a curry for tomorrow.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Jan. The dogs must be a pain.
Lovely morning here too, nice and warm.
We have a day to ourselves today. we might do something and then again we might not!
Bangers and mash later.
Oh, we had an upfate on the jumping out of the window incident last week. The girl had a row with her bf before she jumped out of the window wearing only her knickers.
The parents were away in Berlin and when they came back went round to say thankyou to the neighbour's lad who called the ambulance etc. And then told them a story about what had happened which was not exactly what had happened. Trying to put the best light on things I suppose. The girl was lucky, she jumped out of the window but bounced off the porch roof before hitting the ground, she only got bruised and scratched.
Have a good day all.

Morning all :)

Oh no Jan, they're so blooming inconsiderate!

Crommers, that girl needs help, nobody does that unless they are disturbed! :? Hopefully she'll get some :(

Currently sitting in the hairdresser's waiting, but someone got here before me and is having highlights, so it's going to be a long wait! I thought I would be first as I got here at 9.15 and they only open at 9 - Highlight Woman must have been camped on the doorstep! Their no appointments system is a pain sometimes, but I love the way Shireen cuts my hair....

Hope Ria and Nadine got home ok :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Yes, safe travels to Ria and Nadine.
Kaz you are right. They are an odd family. The police and ambulance have been to the house before to the eldest girl. They have a wall of 15ft tall conifers around the garden "for our privacy" which means my sister in law can't leave her car on her adjacent drive because of the sap from the conifers. Said conifers have also damaged her drive and blocked her neighbours drain. Once a year yhe father comes out with a pair of hand shears and half heartedly snips away.
They don't talk to anybody much.

Afternoon all :D

Another bright and sunny day 8-)

The dogs would make my life miserable Jan, do hope you can get it sorted once and for all.

Gosh they do sound a very odd family Crommers. The girl was very lucky not to be seriously hurt.

Oh dear Saundra, you'll miss your tea. I doubt one cup with brekkie will hurt. Bit puzzled she's told you not to drink after 6pm, surely that doesn't include water, I'd have thought it was important to stay hydrated :? Fingers crossed for your blood sugar results xx

We've had a lovely lie in, not long had brekkie. Planning to pop over to the garden centre later, we need some plants to fill a few gaps in the front border, lavender is a favourite, it spreads nicely and smells lovely. Need something a bit taller for a gap in the back garden, will have to see what they've got.

Have a good day :D

Saundra, decaff tea ;) It's the caffeine in ordinary tea that's a diuretic.
