Morning Ally, morning everyone

Dull, grey and cool this morning  :? We really are having weird weather this year :?

A really good nights sleep last night :Hi: :Hi: probably helped by a lot of wine ;)    I rang Lesley yesterday and explained about the dog barking for 3 hours - non stop - and she got very defensive and then aggressive again. But she promised to move it and they did, so result on that score. Didn't get a reply when I asked why they'd moved it back, apart from the fact that our guests had gone - now how did they know that?

We went down to the bar after dinner, not normal for us, but Grumpy was getting very ansty and met a load of friends, who insisted on buying us wine  Jose said he'd lend us his shotgun, not to shoot the dog, it's not her fault, but the owners  .

Doing not a lot today, we had much planned  Joquinha and his friends are supposed to come up sometime, to remove the now defunct very large satellite dish from the side of the house, but not heard anything. Might watch the footie later, if I can find it, might go down to the bar.

I must do the curry today, chucked the chicken out yesterday, it smelt and felt a bit odd

Not sure I could drink a cider now Ally, taste buds have changed, used to love it ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Ally and Jan, morning everyone

Ally, glad you had a good journey over and have just the best time and most amazing fun

Jan, the weather is rather odd at the moment; wow. But nice to have cooler evenings for sleeping; I know I slept like a log at yours :D Your neighbours truly are something else; I couldn't see them when we left on Thursday but they must have been watching out the window; can't believe they moved the dogs back again. What about their guests; aren't THEY bothered by the barking? Or have they also left?

Well Nadine and I got back the early hours of yesterday morning and not much sleep was had so a lazy day yesterday, got the washing done and then early to bed. Loads to do in the garden today and then crack on with all the bits and bobs I have planned for the next week off. The three days with Jan and Grumpy felt like a 10 day holiday - so relaxing and perfect (as always) and now I'm ready for the working part of the holiday.

Have a lovely day all and enjoy whatever it is you're all up to xx

They probably watched out of the kitchen window Ria

Guests here and more guests coming, until the middle of September, so a little peace and quiet for us. We told Odette last night that we were thinking of moving away, as we really can't stand the noise, she was horrified - but if we do move, it will be locally. Love the area.

Sausage sandwiches for breakfast, to soak all the wine up   8-)

Good morning all, it’s dull and drizzly here. Quite nice and refreshing actually after the recent heat!

I’m currently sat waiting in the hairdressers. My appointment was 10.30 but my hairdresser is still applying highlights to the person before me and I’d say she’s only half way through so I might be waiting a bit yet (Kaz, isn’t this a repeat of your visit to the salon?).

There’s some shopping to do and we need to call into the bathroom shop and pay the deposit for the work they’re going to do. I could also do with calling in to see my parents at some point.

Have a good day all!

Morning all, it is dull and drizzly here this morning. I have plenty to do and really must get on with it. Michael and Kellie are coming for a sleepover so I have to get their beds ready. Also Edward needs to decide what outfits he is bringing away so that I can iron anything that needs it. I want to go to the butchers to get one of their nice free range chickens for tomorrow’s dinner but will wait till it stops drizzling. Then I want to start knitting a ballet cardigan for Kellie. The Irish Open golf is on later, so that should be good to watch on tv.

Morning all :)

A bit greyer and cooler here today, but still nice enough to sit outside, as Mick and I are currently doing at Corretto's :) No Fat Club today, as B is working and I CBA :P

Ally that was a super-speedy transition from landing to cider, nice one :D 8-) xx

Jan it would be an awful shame to have to move, but the non-stop barking would drive me mad too! :( Xx

Glad you had such a great time Ria :D

Saundra lots of men in Lycra and shorts ;)

Jo yes, exactly the same! Must be National Haircut Week or something, as B also had her hair done, at Head Kandy an expensive salon here in the Quays! Cut and colour, it looks fantastic! :) Even Mick ran the clippers over his :ugeek:  Hope you weren't waiting for too long xx

Have a lovely weekend with the children Osc :D

Love to all xxxxx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

It would be such a shame to have to move Jan, but I must admit I couldn't live with that noise. It does make me wonder if it's the reason the last people moved.

Glad you had a lovely time Ria.

I thought it was just my hairdresser overbooking Jo, it's become a regular occurrence to arrive on time and find her just starting on foils. Soooo annoying as it always takes a good 30/45mins for her to get to me!!!

Off into town later, need some veggies and a few bits from Boots. Planning to get the bus and if I feel up to it hope to have a stroll by the harbour.

Have a good day :D

The old lady who lived here before us Jen, had to go into a home, she became too frail to live on her own. Buy I must admit, I think her stroke was probably brought on by the way these people behave.

But she sold them the land, she should have put something on the sale to stop them building so closes to this house.
