Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 07 Jul 2019, 05:38

Good morning.

Bright and sunny... I have to admit being out of the intense Spanish heat (it was 40 degrees when I left on Friday) is rather nice. I'm quite happy with any weather here as long as it stays mild as I forgot to pack a jacket.

Jackie and I are going charity shop mooching this morning.... books for me.

We've got a table booked at Hickory's Smokehouse for 5.30. The food there is great and you get a lot of it.

Think we'll be chilling out tonight... it's been all go since I got here.

Have a great day everyone. X

Morning Ally, and everyone :)

It's grey here Al, just 40 miles or so up the road, but not cold at all. It must be a relief from the extreme heat, even though you're used to Spanish heat these days 8-)

Usual Sunday here, out for coffee and the papers in a bit. Mick just got back from dropping B at work, so I'd better get up and in the shower - get the day under way :)

Have a good day :) xxx

Morning Ally, Kaz and everyone

Sunny and cloudy this morning. Still got a chill in the air :? when the clouds covers the sun, but hey ho 8-)

Another quiet night :Hi: :Hi: so a long deep sleep (possibly the brandy helped   ) Done the watering and as I was on the bank, mentioned to Grumpy how quiet it was, peeped through the fence and yes, they have new guests, so said, well, keep it quiet for the guests and sod the neighbours. Whoops, there he was, Brian in his normal red top, feeding the donkey  Oh well, it's the truth, and we're not exactly friends

Will probably attempt the rest of the cleaning today and Grumpy will carry on with the store room.

BBQ later, as we're still allowed.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

A nice morning here, sunny and warm. I don't think 40c would do for me at all.
Later our daughter, baby and happy dog are showing up for Sunday dinner, which will be nice.
I've taken a couple of co-codamols for the pain in my hip this morning and they have made me feel a bit fuzzy somehow.
I think a crossword and a cup of coffee are in order. :)
Have a good day all.

Morning all, it’s a lovely day here. Michael and Kellie are coming to stay the night as Miss Osc and SIL are going to a concert and decided to treat themselves to a hotel night in town. Last night was a huge concert night in Dublin, Stereophonics, The Eagles and Westlife all on in different venues. The children will arrive around 4pm, we are doing a roast chicken dinner and if the weather stays nice, we can all wander down to the harbour for ice cream. In the meantime, I have towels almost ready to go out on the line, and might take the chance to sit out in the sun.

Morning all :D

Not quite so bright today, rain's forecast, dry at the moment so we'll see...……

Ally glad you're having a good time with Jackie, hope the weather holds up for you.

Hurrah for a quiet night Jan, probably good he did hear you 8-)

Take it easy Crommers, good idea to have a quiet day.

We had planned to get our new plants into the garden, but it really depends on the weather. Not a problem if they have to wait until tomorrow, they're nicely sheltered and E's keeping them watered.

Roast pork for dinner, vanilla blancmange and raspberry jelly for pud.

Have a good day :D

Currently trying to get hold of D, as the hospital just rang us. Have updated on the Family board.
