That's a bit odd Osc. Something must have upset him, perhaps. Since I stopped driving four years ago, we use our local taxis very frequently,
and not once have we been disapp0inted, and have found every driver to be very sociable and respectful.
If I were you I would make my feeling known to the taxi company concerned. They would perhaps get rid of him.
