Thank you all! :D

I had a lovely day and was spoiled rotten!

My sister and brother in law visited in the morning and my present from them was a gift card for eating out. Tom's also taking me out for lunch as he didn't know what else to get me although he gave me a huge bunch of lilies. Joe had got me a large bottle of Baileys! John took me into Birmingham and took me to Tiffany's where he bought me a necklace, from there we went to the Old Contemptibles (he'd never been in before and said he expected the Peaky Blinders to walk in any minute, he thought it was lovely in there) and then it was dinner at The Ivy which was gorgeous. After that we walked through the newly refurbished Centenary Square and through the ICC to Gas St Basin and we sat outside the little old pub at the side on the tow path for a spot of people watching before getting the train home.

We always struggle to go places and not see someone we know. We were sitting in The Ivy, waiting for dessert (chocolate bombe...oh my life, it was amazing!), when we heard a very excitable hello and looked over to see John's boss and his lovely wife coming towards us. They were then seated a couple of table across from us :lol:
