Good Morning Sunday

Postby JanB » 04 Aug 2019, 07:47

Morning everyone

Lovely, sunny morning although chilly in the wind and shade. Warming up later 8-)

Watering done, under the scrutiny from the cows in next doors field  and Molly getting under my feet too  She also got watered

Ironing for me this morning, as Grumpy won't need my assistance this morning. We forgot to order the glass tile for the new roof, so he'll be getting on with filling in where necessary.

Pootling and swimming later.

Using the hot plate for dinner.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody

Lots of sunshine. Going for some retail therapy. It i in part of an old textile mill which has been converted. Part is a retail outlet with offices. Not ben there before. The tall mill is still standing and is a landmark so it is easy to find.
Have a good day everybody.

Good morning both, there were two GM threads, but I merged them ;)

It's Becky's birthday today, she's 24! Already up and opened her presents, despite getting home very late after an afternoon and evening with friends at the Blues Festival in the city  Wish I had such young kidneys :P We're having Sunday lunch out at the Red Lion at Wainlode, by the river, picking D up first. Hope it stays fine, as it's a beautiful spot 8-)

It's also Pepper's 11th birthday! We don't know exactly when her birthday is, but we know it was early August, and many years ago B declared she could share her day  So she bought the dogs new toys, and they had their presents first

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all. Happy birthday to B and pepper!
It's warm and still here, a very nice morning. Our daughter's in-laws are back from Majorca today, so they can have their dog back. Tbh it was a nerve leaving the dog with her anyway. She works three days a week, has a toddler, a dog of their own and a husband who works shifts. The last thing she needed was another dog to look after.
Anyway, we're having beef for dinner :Hi: and it's the motogp this pm so it's a good day.
I hope you all have lovely days.

Ironing done Saundra and yes, now heading for the pool. The water is 31C, but just taken the cover off, so it will drop a couple of degrees, especially as I'm about to put some more water in

Lovely and warm outside too, so Grumpy is digging up weeds on the "lawn"
