Good Morning Monday

Postby JoM » 09 Sep 2019, 07:04

Good morning all, it's absolutely pouring down here so no walk has been had!

Tom's just left for 'school', he's at the training school over near Burton on Trent this week, I think it's next Monday when he starts at the school near here where he'll spend the year working. Joe's at Amanda's and they're off for a night away in mid-Wales later this morning.

I'll blitz the house today seeing as it's too wet to go out, the rain's forecast to last until this evening.

Have a good day all!

Morning Jo, morning everyone

Lovely sunny morning, quite fresh out of the sun, but will warm up soon. Not too hot today 8-)

Watering done and I'll blitz our house too this morning Jo :D Also go a load of washing to do, but that will soon dry.

Hope Tom has a good day at school Jo :D

Swim this afternoon and might take a trip down to the bar later.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it is dull and damp here but thankfully not raining as hallelujah, the builder has arrived to finish the roof. I am out to lunch with my school friends today, in a local restaurant so I can walk. I need to pop up to the gym this morning (not going to class because my leg is not fully better) - I have a facial booked for Thursday but am currently having an allergic-to-something episode so am being very careful of what goes on my face. I’ll give the facial to Miss Osc, as I know she wants one and hasn’t made an appointment for herself. Knitting this evening.

Morning all :)

Yikes Jo, no rain here yet but I think I'll take my brolly out with me :? All the best for Tom, for his training week :)

Your day sounds nice Jan :)

Meeting Em and Jaqs in town for a cuppa. Our WW pal Trish is joining us - she's moving away later this month to be nearer family. I'll miss her, but we'll keep in touch. On the lookout for a new throw to go with the lovely new bedding I bought in Bedecked, in the Quays, so will drag Em round the shops with me later  Zumba tonight :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Bit of excitement in Shaftesbury this morning. In the time it took me to place my order for a bacon butty in the Baguette Bar, wander round the corner to Holland & Barrett to buy some almonds and wander back, an elderly lady had driven down the one way street outside the Baguette Bar the wrong way, crossed the T-junction, and run into the wall of the fruit & veg shop! :o Passersby were just getting her out of the car, shaken but thankfully unhurt, as I returned. It's a busy pavement for pedestrians she went across before hitting the building, that; it might have been an awful lot worse ..... :|
