Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 10 Sep 2019, 06:23

Good morning.

We are in Sesimbra and according to weatherman David it'll be sunny and cloudy. Clouds are good after 4 months of scorchio! 8-) :cute: :cute:

The hiking boots and shorts are on and after breakfast a yomping we will go. :D :D

Have a good day everyone.

Morning Ally, have a great time :D

Morning all! It looks grey and dull here, raincoat and boots weather :( Usual Tuesday for me, town first, then up to see D for lunch. I think it's time to swap over from our summer sandwiches to winter soup again - good old M&S cream of tomato, or tomato and basil  The ironing pile awaits me this afternoon

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning Ally, Kaz and everyone

Clouds, sun and wind here. More clouds and wind than sun, but it does make a change ;) I will, no doubt, be moaning how cold it is later

Ironing for me this morning, Grumpy is being pool boy. I've got some dead heading to do and then will head into the pool, if that wind drops.

Sesimbra will be the same temperature as us today Ally, 29C. Cold then ;) Have fun today :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all

Ally enjoy the yomp; have fun!
Kaz, it really has jumped into Autumn hasn't it - usually September we have a bit of an Indian Summer still but this year it's just not happening
Jan, hope the wind drops and you can get a swim in

A sort of usual / usual for me - have some IT bods coming in today to discuss the change over to a new IT system and then meeting a friend for a quick drink tonight. He works about 1/2 hour away and only finishes at 6pm so I'll just hang around for an hour or so until he gets here. Not really ideal as it does mean I get home past 8pm which in turns means the chickens won't have their usual hour outside the run before they head to bed, but c'est la vie. The run is more than big enough really, but I just like for them to have a bit of free range time if at all possible. But come the darker winter months I fear this will be the norm for them.

Not much else to report from my end; so have a lovely day all x

Good morning all, the drizzly start here has brightened up!

I walked Billy first thing, it was half walk and half run just because I fancied a run really when we were about a mile from home. Tom's gone to his training, John's cycled into work today and Joe and Amanda were walking around Barmouth and thinking of heading into Porthmadog when he texted earlier, they'll be back this evening.

Ria, the forecast for the coming week has us heading back to around 20c here so don't lose hope yet!

Have a good day all!

Morning all, it’s a beautiful morning here, I was up on the terrace helping Edward get it back to normal after the builders and the sun was really warm. I need to tidy around, and pop up to the post office to get some money. Then I have a 2.30 appointment to get my o/70 driving licence, after which I will come home and do some ironing. Happy Yomping Ally!!

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

We had a good session at the hydro yesterday, it definitely helps. I'm sleeping better, just the odd twinge when I lie down, not the awful sharp pain that shot down my leg and often had me up at night. E's enjoying it too, he's a brilliant swimmer, but as his hip has deteriorated it's become much harder. The warm water obviously helps, while I'm doing my exercises he's doing laps, he managed 18 yesterday :D

Not sure what we're doing today, the front garden border needs weeding and the back could do with a tidy so we'll probably get out there later.

Have a good day :D
