Morning all, hope everyone is fit and well on this beautiful sunny day :)

Becky has the day off so we'll wander into town together a bit later :) First I have some washing to get on, then this afternoon some cleaning to do!

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning Kaz, morning everyone

Was foggy again earlier, so we had a coffee and a read in bed :D Bit cloudy and cooler this morning, but expecting it to warm up later.

Washing machine on, doing the bedding in the new bedroom, ready for our visitors next week :Hi: And I will be cleaning the kitchen cupboards - not my favourite job  - and making a curry for tomorrow.

Grumpy will be tiling the walls on the new store room and the workshop he built. Just finishes it off, really. Can't be seen, but he needs to do something.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Lovely sunny morning here. MrsC off to take her dad for a blood test soon.
After today sister in law is back from holiday so MrsC will get a break. After that the doctor has said the district nurse will be in touch to discuss a care package.
Have a nice day all.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny again 8-)

Good to hear things are getting sorted Crommers, hope the DN helps with a care package.
Not long to wait for your visitors Jan, exciting times.

Blue Wave for us at lunchtime, definitely getting our money's worth. We've been getting 3 sessions in for a few weeks now, works out at approx £1.87 per visit, has to be one of the best value things we've done. Even better if it works :D

Have a good day :D

Good morning all (well, it was still morning when I started typing).

It's sunny and quite warm here. There's a load of washing drying on the line and another load just finishing in the machine. Billy had an extra long walk first thing, and when we eventually got near to home he went and stood on the path we go along on the start of the walk and stubbornly stood there, giving me puppy eyes. He wanted to go around again. 4 miles was enough though and he eventually gave in and followed me

It's been a productive morning since we got back. Our Sky broadband contract ends next week. They gave us a good offer when we ditched the television part of the package a year ago so I wanted to see if they'd repeat it. Suffice to say, we'll be getting an enhanced service for a little less than we've been paying for the last year and they're also sending us a better router free of charge. I'd already called and got Joe a better deal on his mobile calls and data last weekend.

It's a big afternoon for Joe today, he's picking up his new car. It's not brand new at 4 years old but newer than his 11 year old Fiat. We've helped him out and paid some towards it, while we can't complain about the Fiat at all (it's been a reliable and brilliant first car!) we've been worried about him doing long journeys in it and breaking down on the motorway. He's got breakdown cover but it's the thought of him actually breaking down on there that's worried us, especially as the M6 near us is a so-called smart motorway so the hard shoulder isn't always available if needed!

Have a good day all!

Jo, I don't see anything smart about that at all, so you? Blooming dangerous if you ask me! The New car sounds a sensible idea 8-)

Crommers I hope they get a decent care package together, before you and Mrs C get totally worn out!

It's been so warm here today, like high summer again!

Isn't it gorgeous??? 8-) :D

I have met up with three friends for coffee at the seaside this morning, we didn't realise when we planned it that we'd be blessed with such a fab day! Sat outside in the sunshine for a good couple of hours, chatting, drinking our coffee and generally enjoying life. After we broke up, I headed back to Durham to get my nails re-done. I treated myself the other week to a BioSculpture gel, it's great - my usual weak nails are growing apace and the colour has stayed on fine, no chipping whatsoever. Highly recommend, although can get a little pricey if I continue to have the treatment over a longer spell. As it is, I'm using up some birthday money, so all is good :D 8-)

Work for me in the morning (yuk) but then am picking up my sister and going for ANOTHER coffee or two - not seen her for weeks so much catching up will be done! Although I hope I don't pass my cold on to her, she's off to Spain on Wednesday.

Enjoy what's left of the lovely day xx
