Coincidentally we are having chicken breasts in mushroom sauce, with new potatoes and green beans!

It's a fiddly thing to do and it really was lovely. Even Grumpy agreed   There is enough left over to go in the freezer, so he can "enjoy" it again

Saundra, not a baked bean lover, we can get either trader joe or crosse and blackwell. In certain shop, in the Algarve you can get Heinz, but that would cost you about 2 euros

Saundra, beans on toast with cheese sounds heavenly :D I buy Sainsbury's low sugar beans, not as nice as Heinz but B loves beans and they are less fattening :cute:

I found a UFO in the freezer which I convinced myself was a chicken curry of some sort, so I took out another container that I absolutely knew was vegetable fried rice.

Tea will now be vegetable fried rice with chicken and sweetcorn soup. Nice.

Sounds lush WM - just chuck the rice in the soup

Grumpy had herring in a pepper sauce, with steamed veg, I had pasta, with a different sauce. A stock cube  , water, white wine and I lobbed in mushrooms and some presunto. Rather tasty 8-)
