Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

We've decided to get the Karcher out, the front drive and patio need doing. Not the most exciting job and I 'm sure the noise will irritate the neighbours, but might as well make use of this lovely weather, who knows how long it will last. We didn't get it done last year so everything looks really grubby.

Have a good day :D

Morning all :) It seems we all have sunshine today :D

Just been to SW, lost another pound and a half, so I'm pleased. B is working, so I went on my own. Now in Corretto's with Mick - the Docks look gorgeous in all this sunshine 8-) Up to see D in a while - we're going to pick her apple tree today, so we'll be swamped with them! Luckily Emma is going to take some off my hands

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good afternoon all, it's sunny and warm here.

We walked Billy on Hednesford Hills first thing and I ate loads of blackberries and bilberries as we walked around  Shannon stayed last night and they've gone to the Sealife Centre in Birmingham today. I didn't know they had penguins and seals there, it certainly looks to have changed in the years since we used to often go when the kids were little! I may have to revisit :D
Right, off to get ready to go and see my parents now.

Have a good day all!

Evening all! We are in our hotel in Southampton prior to heading off on the Queen Mary 2 tomorrow, the weather is gorgeous as it was at home for the last few days. We had a lovely few days in Cork, although there were issues with the birthday meal on Thursday night, which resulted in two meals and two bottles of wine being taken off the bill, plus a deduction of money also. Sadly one of the unsatisfactory meals was mine :( Miss Osc dealt with it all, the service was very poor. Otherwise the hotel was lovely, beautiful grounds, the men and Michael enjoyed their golf. It was lovely to see my nieces and their children, and I think they all enjoyed the family time, which was what I wanted. It was so nice to see Kellie getting on with her Cork cousins Matt and Jonathan, they are similar ages and poor Michael was very much the “grown up” of the cousins although he was good with them. I have not been sleeping well for the last 10 days or so, including while we were away, so I was absolutely exhausted after the drive home yesterday evening. Thankfully I slept a bit better last night, although I am still tired. Mind you, there is nothing I have to do over the next few days apart from boarding the ship!

Hi Jo, eating them off the bushes is cheating :P ;) I hope Tom and Shannon enjoyed the penguins :D

Osc, such a shame about the meal, but I'm glad you had a lovely time with your family nonetheless :) Enjoy your cruise! :D :Hi: :Hi:
