Good Morning Thursday

Postby JanB » 26 Sep 2019, 06:39

Morning everyone

Sun is up and it's going to be a lovely day. We're having a dry autumn so far 8-)

Just having a coffee and will do the watering. Need to pack and do other bits and bobs, breakfast included.

Meeting Jenny and Kelly this afternoon, (well, we need the key for the apartment  ) Kim sometime or other and Dave and Hazel tomorrow. Will be going to Tavira Gran Plaza first, C and A calls

Won't have internet access whilst we're away, so hope you all keep well. Will see you on Saturday x

Good morning JanB,

Going shopping and trying to get my phone fixed at a local shop. They have helped me before. I keep getting pings. They will come at any time including the middle of the night. The phone is switched off lying on a table when this happens so I am not touching it. Very annoying.
Lovely snshine now after heavy rain in the night.
Lots of puddles when I walked for the paper.
Have a good day everybody

Wet and miserable here  It's supposed to clear up this afternoon.

Have a good time Jan.
Hope you get your phone sorted Cruiser.

Weekly shopping day for us, M&S then Tesco. Looking out the window we'll need our raincoats, drowned rats comes to mind :o I've got a nice casserole on the go in the slow cooker, think we'll need it.

Have a good day :D

Afternoon all. MrsC and her sis are round their dads. We got a 5am phone call and another at 7am. I'm off for a blood test at 2.30, they couldn't get any last time.
Have a good day all, enjoy the family coming over Jan.

Caught Mrs O standing on a stool this morning looking pensively skywards. So putting on my best reggae voice, I started carolling:
"I can see clearly now, the cobwebs overhead ……"

Ever been whacked by a feather duster?

Ossie!!!! behave :D

Crommers, gosh 5am phone call - that must have woken you both with a jolt with horrid thoughts :( Have you been able to speak to anyone about getting some support for your FiL; which in turn will be support for you and Mrs C?
Jan, I know you won't be able to read this as you've left but have the best time away and most important enjoy that family greeting at the airport on Saturday; what a special day to look forward to x
Jen, casserole sounds yummy and yup the weather definitely is right for that
Cruiser - that's odd that the phone is beeping when switched off. Spooky
Saundra, I think it's grey all over the country at the moment - time to get the candles out and make the home more cozy in the evenings.

A lovely usual / usual for me . We had board meeting day yesterday and whilst the morning was relatively routine and quiet, from midday through to 4pm it was just absolute mad. I was so glad to see the end of yesterday and get home. Today it's all back to normal and I'm enjoying every minute :D

Have a lovely day everyone xx
