Good Morning MONDAY

Postby JanB » 30 Sep 2019, 06:55

Morning everyone

Foggy at ground level, sunny above   Going to be another 31C later 8-)

Woken up by the sound of a tractor - we think it's Jose Felipe, clearing a field near us. No doubt ours will be done soon, ready for sowing.

Will wait for the mist/fog to go and will head off out for the day. Going to be tourists for the day ;) Will pop into a couple of other supermarkets to try and find something Tracy can drink. She's not an alcohol drinker, but likes ameretto, so will be on the hunt for that.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it is a crisp autumn morning here and the builder has arrived again, he was here for a long time yesterday and found three leaks  I have a doctor appointment at 11.30 after which I suppose I had better come home and tackle some ironing before it completely takes over the utility room  I also want to write some thank you notes to all the family members who made my birthday such a lovely family occasion.

Jan, click on edit on your first post and you should be able to change the title to Monday.

Good morning all, it's sunny at the moment but we're due to get hit with heavy rain this afternoon which is supposed to last until the early hours of tomorrow.

Bill's walk was done first thing, I'll take him again in an hour or so because if the forecast's right he won't get out tonight and tomorrow doesn't look very promising either. The hoovering's done, I've cleaned the bathrooms (both are so much easier in an empty house  ) and done some household admin too so everything's up to date. I'm now waiting for an Amazon parcel but if their delivery tracker is accurate it's still at the courier depot in Stoke.

Cromwell, I thought our toaster was on the blink last week but it came back to life. Enjoy your day with Eliza!

Enjoy your touristy day Jan!

Have a good day all!

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny at the moment, think rain's forecast for later though.

Since retirement I often get my days mixed up Jan, especially if we do something a bit different  Enjoy being a tourist.

Good luck with the kettle Crommers, we need a new soup maker, ours has completely conked out. We've only had it a couple of years and used it loads, almost every day for lunch in the winter. Not sure if we should go for the same make again..........

It's Blue Wave for me later.

Have a good day :D

Have waved my wand for you Jan - hope that's ok!!

Well we have had a day out! As mentioned yesterday we are off this week and should be at the caravan.....anyway we decided to go and have our Spa day and meal after all, even though it's an hour and a half on the A1 each way......was fab once we got there but Oh My Goodness the congestion around the MetroCentre at 9.30 is unreal! I'm so glad I don't have to deal with that every day! Just not moving, for a couple of miles, delayed us by about half an hour, and of course no obvious reason for the delay, we just sped up shortly after the Metro junction and that was that! Nuts!!

So, a swim, a jacuzzi, a relax wth a nice coffee in the relaxarion room and then afterwards a lovely meal in the lush restaurant and then the drive home. Got back about 3.30, stripped the bed and chucked it in the wash. Started out gorgeous and sunny, now it's cloudy and colder but no rain - yet!!

Blimey Osc - three leaks!! Hope he can get it sorted - good luck with the ironing!! x

Enjoy time with Eliza, Crommers x

Have a great day out Jan x

Have a good rest of Monday all xxx
