Morning Ally and everyone

A gorgeous sunrise and expecting another rather warm day 8-)

Paused for tea and coffee making duties

We'll have breakfast later, fresh cheese, presunto, salami, lots of olive oil :D , some lovely bread, then head off to the bar for coffee. Will need to show Joe the way out of the countryside, back to civilisation ;)

Will do not a lot when we get back, maybe a swim, before doing the prep for dinner.

Forgot it was Thursday and your second bonkers day Ally

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all. Eliza this morning FiL this afternoon.
I'm supposed to be giving a blood sample again. First time they couldn't get any, second time I wasn't down for an appointment (?). I've a good mind not to go.
Bright here but definitely chllly.
Chicken wrapped in bacon and stuffed with cheese for tea - yum.
Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Nice and bright, but a tad chilly.

Yesterday's hydro session was great, there were only five people including us. E especially enjoyed it, he did 44 laps, probably a bit too much, but he's not feeling too bad this morning so no harm done.

Found out last week that a new Diabetes Community Group has started up so we're going along to a meeting later this afternoon. Not sure if it will be my thing ongoing, but this months guest speaker is the diabetic nurse from my surgery doing a Q&A session so should be interesting. We've decided to put off shopping until tomorrow, too much of a rush otherwise.

Have a good day :D

Morning all, it is quite a bright morning here as we await the onslaught of Storm Lorenzo - at the moment it is a bit breezy, although otherwise sun and cloud. We have the children later on, and then I have a facial at 6pm. I messaged Miss Osc to say I wouldn't see her when she collects M and K as I have a facial at 6pm and she messaged back to say I would as she has one at 5pm with the same beautician  I have made a start putting away summer clothes, and took out the warm dressing gowns. Ironing to be done, as ever.

hello all and good afternoon to you - a dull grey day today but at least it's not raining

Saundra, I hear the jabs can leave some people feeling really under the weather for a bit; hope you feel better very soon x
36 Ally? Wow, we could only but dream of at least half of that :D 15 or 16 and rain seems the norm her for the next few days - so dismal!
Jan, yum to your breakfast; always so so lovely esp the fresh cheese
Crommers, hope you went to the appointment and that they managed to get the blood needed and above all hope all results come back just tickety-boo
Jen, hope the diabetes meeting is informative and as much fun as these things can be. Smaller group for the hydro sounds perfect to me - things like that are always better with less people ;-)
Osc, batten down the hatches and stay dry and warm. Enjoy the facial

Usual work day for me (all been a bit bitty busy recently) and then going past someone's house to collect egg boxes (as you do :D ) He and his wife used to have 12 chickens and now are down to 6; so don't have much in the way of eggs to give away anymore and apparently they have loads of spare boxes so he's kindly offered some to me. Very useful really as I try and give eggs to some of the neighbours on regular occasions (ie bribery) but they never return the boxes.

On that note, have a lovely day everyone xx
