Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 14 Oct 2019, 05:33

Good morning.

A nice respectable 28 forecast today. :D

Yesterday's walk to Torremolinos and back was great. Really impressed with our time to get there (Jacob and Don had a liquid bet as J reckoned it would take us two and a half hours. We did it in 1 hour 46 mins. Jacob owes Don a pint. )

A quick run for me this morning, a swim then back to have the whole day to just chill. :D :D

Dad is having lunch with the owner of the holiday apartment so I don't need to go over today.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

We had rain :Hi: :Hi: during the night and more is forecast for today. Although looking at the sky - blue - I can't see that happening. Not as warm today, but not cold ;)

Not long up  I had a rubbish nights sleep the other night and have obviously needed to catch up.

So a lazy day today, although I have some ironing - but that's not urgent.

We were given a huge pumpkin which needs to be cut up, chopped and then frozen, so that meanas the freezers need sorting out to fit it all in ;)

Leftover curry for dinner.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Jan and Ally.
MrsC has gone to her dad's. We have had two phone calls from him this morning. He is worse in the mornings, sometimes he doesn't know if he's on this earth or Fullers.
I have a bit of shopping to do. If I want to get any conifers lopped it will have to be now as we are forecast heavy rain this afternoon and evening.
We had a nice meal out yesterday. The restaurant was a bit arty-tarty but the food was ok.
Have a good day all.

Good morning all, it's sunny here but we've got the same forecast as Cromwell for later.

Bill's had his walk, it's been a bit hit and miss lately as to whether he's gone out or not with all of the rain that we've had.

Joker was outstanding. Not as violent as I expected, although there were obviously violent parts and there was a feeling of tension that something could happen at any moment. Dark and haunting are probably the best words to sum it up, and sad too because of the character's circumstances. Joaquin Phoenix deserves the best actor Oscar next year.

Have a good day all!

Good morning all. We have had some torrential rain this morning but it has cleared a bit now. I am off to the gym this morning and will need to do some ironing this afternoon. We had a lovely time dancing yesterday afternoon - we haven’t been for a while so it was great to catch up with friends and make plans to go to upcoming dance events.

Morning all :)

Waiting for my friend Em in the M&S cafe. It's not raining yet, but it's threatening

Hope you're all ok :)

Morning all :D

Wet and miserable here

Oh dear Crommers, when do the carers start? Hopefully that will take the pressure off Mrs.C.

Hannah, our granddaughter was very impressed too Jo. E would love to see it, but thinks it would be best for us to wait until it comes out on DVD, in the cinema you're a captive audience, at home I can look away if it gets too much. Tbh he's thinking of his arm, I tend to hold on rather too tight when things get frightening

Still a bit sore, Blue Wave later, hoping the warm water eases it a bit.

Have a good day :D

greetings all and happy Monday

The morning is whizzing by again. A rather dull and damp and dreary day in London - just as well I'm in the office and not mooching about at home ;-)

Crommers, is your FiL diabetic at all; would you know? Just wondering if his being more confused in the mornings vs evenings could be due to low blood sugars?
Jen, you made me laugh - poor E and his arm :D
Saundra, this year for the first time she also didn't wear the crown, but a much lighter tiara instead. She is an amazing woman - the amount she still does at her age! And best of luck for the appointment in a bit - I hope you can get something to help you xxx
Ally, Jan and Osc, enjoy your days doing doing the bits and bobs you are
Kaz, hope your meet up with Em was the usual fun. What was the soup today
Jo, it must be rather frustrating for Billy (and you) not being able to go for your regular long walks. Glad you enjoyed The Joker - it's had good reviews

Have a lovely day all, well, what's left of it x
