Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 23 Oct 2019, 04:52

Good morning.

Lovely and warm again. 8-) 8-)

A quick run, a quick swim then over to see dad for the day. Jacob will join us and we're all going for a birthday lunch as today the twins are 27.

Conor's at work today, Jacob has two days off but we'll all meet up at the weekend for a belated birthday lunch. :P

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Ally and anybody else who is up,

Sunny but cold. Out shopping again and then taking some pants to be shortened. A friend of Mrs.e does them. She was a dress maker and still does some sewing even though she is over 70.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Dull and grey this morning, when we're supposed to be warm and sunny   Hopefully will clear later.

Happy birthday to your boys Ally :Hi: :Hi:

Off to Ourique after breakfast for the normal runaround. Hopefully, the curtain lady will be open and the curtains ready. Then the chemist and Pingo and that's the highlight of the day

Pitstop at the bar for coffee and collect the rolls. Then back to gate making and stew making. I'm doing the stew ;) We need one gate for the veggie plot and then another that goes into Antonio's field. Very handy that. as we can pick up the starting wood.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all, it's foggy here but is supposed to brighten up at some point.

I've got the Tesco delivery coming soon, Bill's had his walk and I'll take him again this afternoon. There's some housework to do too.

Happy Birthday to Conor and Jacob!

Have a good day all!

Morning all, not a bad day, sun and cloud although there appears to be a breeze. We are on a boil water advisory due to a problem with the water treatment plant from where our water comes - over 600,000 people affected in the greater Dublin area and it will be in place for a couple of days, apparently. Gym this morning and supermarket shop this afternoon.

Yesterday, we got a look around our old house! They had a blocked drain and our old neighbor gave the woman our number as we would know where the access was in the front garden. The woman rang me and we went there straight away. They have done a really lovely job on the house, but we both found it a bit claustrophobic as we love the open plan layout we have now. It was interesting though.

We have curtains :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Almost cost as much as the curtains, but hey ho. And a stonking great hem

Blowing a hooley, so I'll give repairing the fence by the gate a miss. Grumpy is out in it, being grumpy   Although the clouds have changed colour from grey to white and there are bits of blue around.

Funny how we change, isn't it Osc? I love open plan, but our house in England has small rooms, being an old house, which I also loved.

Off to make a huge pan of stew :D

Morning all.....almost

Bright and sunny again 8-)

Happy birthday to your twins Ally.
Bet you won't be using her again Jan.

No Blue Wave for us today, there's a chemical imbalance so no sessions today. Hoping it's back to normal by Friday. Means we've had a lovely lie in so not all bad  Plan to pop over to Dunelm later, will probably also get a few bits from Food Warehouse (the large version of Iceland). I always prefer to use fresh veggies, but I do like to have packs of their cauli and broccoli cheese in the freezer as a standby when we run out.

Have a good day :D

Greetings all - what a morning. Train was it's usual 5 minutes late which gets me in around 8.40; plenty of time to sort out meeting rooms and print off materials for a 9am meeting. Well plenty it would be if the meeting didn't turn up 2 minutes after I got in :D Then a lunch meeting due at 11.45 (sandwiches arrivign 11.30) and they too turned up early; by half an hour!!!!! sigh

Oh well; the day has now righted itself which is good

Ally, happy birthday to your boys x

Jan, glad you got the curtains but odd re the hem; did she not cut the material at all? Re the open plan, I also prefer it esp the living areas. Nice to have a separate laundry area though so you don't always see / hear the dishwasher or washing machine but I love open plan living and being able to speak to each other etc.

Cruiser, Jen and Jo - hope you enjoy your respective days.

I'm meeting up with a friend after work; just hope it's not going to be too late an evening as she's off tomorrow and loves chatting. When we arranged she asked for either this evening or Monday evening as she was off the next day; I very quickly had to point out that I'm not....

Have a lovely day everyone, well what's left of it

Afternoon everyone :)

Happy Birthday to your twins, Ally! :Hi: :Hi:

I agree about open plan, I have always fancied one of those enormous kitchen cum family rooms! 8-)

Been to town, met my friend for a quick cuppa, then up to see D. I picked up some red buttons for her, from the market - she's designed and knitted a Fab jumper for Poppy with Benjamin Bunny on the front :D Also picked up a postal tube for Mick, as he's just done another dog portrait - this one's going to the States

Enjoy the rest of your day everyone :) xx
