Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 29 Oct 2019, 06:38

Good morning.

Still stupidly warm, nay hot! 8-)

Work 9 - 11 then putting up the Halloween decorations. :D

Pitufo and coffee then back to do some marking.

Dad's last full day here and he's got a busy schedule. Conor is going over at 11 to have a coffee with him then Jacob is going over after work around 5. When I finish at 7 Don's picking me up and we're going over to meet up with Jacob and dad and going for a Chinese meal. :D

Michele is flying over to Glasgow at lunchtime today so that she can 'air' the house and get the heating on ready for dad's arrival home tomorrow night. She'll be waiting for him at the airport. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Misty start and will be warm again later 8-) Weird weather, but still no rain, so will have to water the plants later.

General pootling, maybe some ironing.

Waiting for a message from friends in the Algarve and as soon as we hear from there, we're off. Might be this week, might be next  depends on when they get their hopefully repaired camper van back.

How are the carers working out Crommers?

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Your dad is lucky to have such a wonderful family Ally. Jan, the carers seem OK. He's moaning that they "only stay ten minutes", but he'd have to be moaning about something. Kaz, Jan can have some of ours too!
Just had a scam call about Amazon Prime, offering to renew it for only £39.99. Thank you were much Rahul in India or whatever your name is, but no thanks.
Frosty morning here early on. MrsC is off for the flu jab in a mo.
Today holds more conifer lopping and a tip run.
It's dark now by twenty past five. If the winter is not yet quite upon us, it's not far off!
Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Wet and miserable here

It will be lovely for your dad to have Michele waiting for him Ally. Enjoy your day together.

Crommers hope having the carers is making things easier for Mrs.C. Know what you mean about it getting dark early, definitely feel winter's closing in.

Up extra early as E has an appointment with the doctor, it's his turn for an annual med review. Afterwards we're planning to pop into town for a few bits, and then if we still need anything we'll drive over to the small Tesco.

Have a good day :D

Good morning everyone

Ally, hope your dad has a lovely last day and how fab that Michelle is able to get to Glasgow and sort the house and be there when he lands x Are the halloween decorations for home or at school?

Crommers and Kaz, I think we'd all happily give Jan some of our rain :D - and maybe whilst we're at it Ally can send over some sunshine and warmth; now wouldn't that be nice. Although I can't really complain too much today as we seem to have had a good run so far of four dry days after each other; unheard of LOL.
I'm not enjoying these dark evenings but then I'm happy that (for now at least) the mornings are a bit lighter. But I'll be looking forward to 21st December when it's the winter solstice and the days start going longer again, even if it is only be a few seconds each day; I'll take whatever I can get.

It's dull here today but dry - and no rain forecast either apparently. Usual work day today and then meeting a friend for dinner this evening which will be nice.

Have a lovely day every one xxx

The decorations are for school Ria. The Spanish absolutely adore Halloween. :D

Yes. Michele and I decided that tomorrow's flight will be his last solo one.

Sis will be staying with dad for 11 days then going home to France. Dad is going to Michele and Mark's for Christmas and New Year but she already has flights booked to fly over beforehand, stay a couple of days then take him to France. Same when he flies home in early January. She'll go back with him and stay a few days.

Dad doesn't know it but Michele and I have flights booked for his birthday weekend 13 January.

Don and I have flights booked for a 5 day holiday with dad end of Feb/beginning of March as I have a week's holiday with it being Semana blanca.

Mum had already booked (just days before she passed away ) flights for her and dad for their usual 6 week visit in March 2020. Michele contacted Jet2 and they've changed the seat to my name so I'm flying in the day before and will bring dad back to Spain.

Good job my online passport application was a doddle and speedy. I'm going to need it.

Morning all, it is bright and sunny here but the sea looks pretty choppy and angry. Edward has gone to play golf and I have plenty to do around the house, plus I need to pop to the post office.

Good afternoon all.

It's lovely and sunny here today, but we're having a day in, and doing a few odd jobs.

Hope you all have a nice day.
