I'm not enjoying these dark evenings but then I'm happy that (for now at least) the mornings are a bit lighter. But I'll be looking forward to 21st December when it's the winter solstice and the days start going longer again, even if it is only be a few seconds each day; I'll take whatever I can get.
Ria I'm with you for everything above!! I didn't know we lose EIGHT minutes of light every day, four in the morning and four in the evening, from now till Dec 21st.....that's a LOT!!! But at least for now we have sunshine which is lovely as it's in short supply recently.
I'm at work but sneaked on here as there's only me here for the second day. Bosses have taken holiday this week to be with their families at half term, so we only have one p/time optician to cover! It's out turn with her tomorrow.
Hoping my swimming pal Pam is on the mend soon - she found a lump in her breast and today is having an op, followed by radiotherapy but the hospital have told her she'll be in today and go home tonight. Her sister will stay with her, although she doesn't drive, so our other friend Anne took them both to the hospital this morning for 7am and another friend will get them when Pam is ready to leave. Bit worried about her so some vibes would be most welcome.
Also - has anyone here heard of POTS syndrome? Was chatting about it with Jen last night and she says it fits her symptoms, it's hard to diagnose, but the little bit I saw when I googled made me worry even more so I stopped reading. As if she doesn't have enough to cope with already, with her hypermobility and anxiety, which can be a direct 'complication' of HM My poor little girl (coming up 31, so hardly a 'little' girl but she is to me.
Have a good Tuesday all x
