Postby Ally » 06 Nov 2019, 06:29

Good morning.

Sunny and 23 degrees forecast. 8-)

A walk with Don then off to Carre Four for a new kettle. No doubt we'll nip into C&A too. :D

Plan to chill out, catch up on last nights Masterchef then watch tonight's episode. :D

Have a great day.

ETA It's so lovely we're going to go to Paloma Park market. :Hi:

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Was sunny earlier, but the clouds have come back, but still warm 8-)

Off to Castro Verde market after breakfast. Will be getting a load of veg and probably cheeses and chorizo's.

Back to putting them in the garden and then stew making.

Will pop into the computer shop on our way, as the battery went pop in the router during the night  Tried ringing MEO, but rubbish :cute: :cute:

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all. It's frosty and cold here today.
A quiet day ahead, unlike yesterday which went:-
7am Give MrsC a lift up to daughters to look after Eliza.
8am Back to daughters. She can't find her car fob so I give her a lift into work. Eliza is in the frame for the missing fob, poor innocent child!
9.30am.Give MrsC and Eliza to toddler group in Walton.
11am Pick them up.
2pm to the dentist in Horbury.
4.15 pm Pick up daughter from work.
After that I was thinking of setting up a business; Crommers' cars, conveyors to the quality.*

MrsC and her sis are off to their dad's to do his shopping. I wonder what the crisis will be today. Last week he'd lost his house keys, on Monday it was one of his hearing aids.
The memory test people are coming out to him next week, I hope they don't forget to come, boom boom!

Have a good day all.

Good morning all. It is not too bad a day here, although of course rain is forecast for later. I’m off to the gym in a while but want to change the bed before I go. I’ve taken the bags down from the attic in preparation for our weekend away and will get clothes sorted later on.

Crommers, you should have a permanently engaged taxi sign on the roof of your car!!

Morning all

Ally and Jan, enjoy the shopping day :D have fun. Saundra, you too enjoy the shopping
Crommers, golly - you need to get yourself one of those car stickers; you know the one that says Dad's Taxi or in your case one that says Family Taxi :D Hope the fob has been found? And :D at the memory people remembering to turn up :D

Well, sort of usual work day here - still got Management here so having a staff lunch (sandwiches) and then a few drinks after work. The two senior people leave tomorrow morning and the third chap on Friday morning so then it's back to normal.

A rather sad week for our family... heard over the weekend that my cousin Stefan (on my fathers side) had passed away; he was only 54 and had been fighting brain cancer for quite a number of years now. At first it seemed that the treatment had worked so he had a few good (well OK) years, but the last two years he went downhill and on Friday he lost his battle. Then yesterday we found out that my uncle (my mothers brother) is in intensive care in hospital and not expected to regain consciousness. He had bladder cancer and it seems needed some additional surgery that went wrong? Not 100% sure but it's really not looking very good. I just feel so sorry for my mom. She and my aunt (Stefan's mom / my dad's sister) were friends even before my mom met my dad and they've always been close. So mom really wanted to be able to go to the funeral to be there for my aunt but now she can't go. :( So my sister is going to the funeral and will represent all of us. 54 - just so darn young!

Saundra, Eliza loves rooting around in her mum's handbag. Last time they found the fob in a cardboard box in the garage!
Ria, I'm sorry to read that. 54 is no age.
