Good morning.

Looks to be another fine day.

10km walk planned then back to get ready and along with Jacob who stayed over last night we're off to Cala del Moral for the day to visit Conor and Lucia.

It's a beautiful little place where they live, we'll have a walk along the stretch of beach near them and have lunch at a chiringuito. The one we usually go to when we go over there always has the most amazing paella so that's me sorted.

The posse have turned up. Daughter, dog and Eliza. Eliza is a bit grumpy, she's had a temperature and a cough. The dog's unfailingly cheerful though.

Well it's dry today, but the wind is freezing! We've just had a long walk round the other side of the harbour to yesterday's walk Cold but beautiful! Now having a cuppa in a lovely comfy cafe

We're meeting my cousin Nadine this afternoon for afternoon tea She lives in Paignton and messaged me on Friday, wanting to meet up. We don't know each other well, as until Uncle Len's funeral last year, we hadn't seen each other since childhood. She and her sister lost touch rather with their dad (Uncle Len) and our side of the family after a divorce, which is really sad. She was heartbroken at the funeral, and seemed very keen to be back in touch with family again, so it will be lovely to see her again in happier circumstances

Afternoon all

Another bright and sunny day

The porch man didn't turn up yesterday afternoon, it wasn't definite, but it would have been nice if he'd phoned. I'll have to ring him tomorrow and see what's happening. No plans for us, intending to be very lazy. Roast chicken with veggies for dinner later, chocolate blancmange and orange jelly for pud.
