Good morning Ally and anybody else who is up.

Cloudy and it was chilly when I walked for the paper.
Out shopping this morning. Finished writing the Christmas cards yesterday. Will have to buy two for children.
Have wrapped a [paecel which we will send to our grandaughter using one of the courier firms.
Have had to order a new shredder for junk mail yesterday. It should be delivered today. The one we have has jammed and stopped working.

Morning all. Junk mail is an absolute pest Cruiser. Cold here too. Not raining as yet but there are some big dirty grey clouds on the horizon.
Not too much on today. We do need to get the Christmas cards sorted and sent though.

It's absolutely teeming down here, and we really don't need any more water Much more and there will be bad flooding from the Severn. Not a brilliant start for the Victorian Christmas Market, which starts today for ten days D and I are planning to go next week

Shopping with D today, then Pilates tonight

Cruiser, may I ask - why do you shred junk mail? Just put it into the recycling as it is. The only thing I shred / put into the confidential waste bin at work is anything relating to finances and I tear my name / address off every envelope and put that into the confi-bin as well. Everything else goes regular recycling. Gosh, can't believe you've started on Christmas Cards already - I'm no where near thinking Christmas But then I seldom am until December; 1st Advent Sunday is when it all begins for me
Crommers enjoy a quiet(ish) day - no doubt tomorrow you'll report back that you ended up running from pillar to post doing all sorts for everyone x
Kaz, we had a lot of rain overnight but it was dry this morning - a few rivers are on flood alert but nothing major to worry about (yet). I just hope it stops soon - everywhere has had enough rain for a while.

Usual work day here hopefully and this evening I'm aiming to meet up with someone who will give me advice about my naturlisation application - he's German and belong to a Facebook forum that I joined. He's done the application 3x now for himself and family and very kindly said he'd look at mine to make sure I have everything right. It's not a cheap process, this bit will cost £1350.00 and if you get it wrong and they decline the naturlisation you don't get the money back! So I want to make sure I have everything 100% right

Morning all, it was very wet overnight here and windy too. It has cleared up a bit now, but is still cold and there is a strong wind causing the sea to pour over the pier. I have ironing to do today (never did it yesterday as I got engrossed watching the impeachment hearings in Washington). Collecting Kellie from school as per and Michael will be here an hour later. Sausages and mash for dinner - chips for Kellie as she said last week she doesn't like mash, although she might have changed her mind by today

Hated my asda delivery yesterday because as it's now carrier bag free had to stand at the front door with my own bags while fella chucked shopping in them stuff on stuff so now I have to buy plastic bags for my pedal bin as I used the carrier before defeats the object I think end of moan

Morning all

Woke up to heavy rain, but it's beginning to brighten a little, supposed to be nice from around 1ish.

I must start writing Christmas cards too. Don't usually do them this early, but will need to get them off before we go on holibobs. We don't get back until 14 Dec, too late for the overseas post and with the threatened postal strike possibly too late for the others too. Same with pressies, I already have most of them bought, again too late to be rushing round the shops that close to Christmas, especially for the grandchildren. Much easier to have it all done so we can relax and look forward to the festivities without stress.

The Blue Wave sessions do seem to be helping thanks Crommers. Although I still can't walk much further it is a bit easier and generally I do feel a lot less sore and rarely need to take painkillers these days. I'm sleeping a lot better too, it's also benefiting E so although it's a bit of a faff, going three times a week has taken over our lives a bit, it's definitely worth persisting. My hospital referral is due to finish at the end of this month, it's review time tomorrow and we've decided to sign up for a further 6 months.

Good luck with the naturlisation process Ria. Sensible to take precautions to get the application right, that's a lot of money to lose.

Gosh doesn't sound like Asda give a good delivery service Saundra We have deliveries from both Tesco and Sainsbury, they always offer to carry the shopping through to the kitchen. Been impressed with the service from both of them.

Shopping day for us, M&S then Tesco, these Thursdays do come round rather fast these days

Good afternoon all, it's wet and very windy here.

We're off to Ikea shortly and then we're going to the Odeon tonight to see Doctor Sleep. We've treated ourselves to their Limitless cards so we're determined to see a film every week. It's £17.99 per month each and we'd have spent £20 for our tickets tonight without it, John wants to see the Le Mans film next week so we'll have easily covered the cost of the cards in the space of a week

Saundra, the no bags thing really annoys me. Tesco have been bagless since the Summer. The drivers aren't happy about it either as it's making more work for them and slowing down deliveries. It's making no difference to plastic use either because, like you, I used the carriers in the bins in Tom and Joe's room so now I have to use bin bags instead.

Jen like I said it's my first delivery with out carrier bags asda
state that you have to be ready at the door with bags or boxes for your order to be put in so when the fella gets to my door I said so I just stand here with the bags while you fill them yes he said I wasent impressed won't use them again I agree jo it pointless
