Yes, sliding glass panels for the back terrace. They come in about a foot wide panels, but they keep out the wind, rain and mozzies For us, it's the wind and rain. And they slide together, so you can open the whole lot, if needed.

They are not cheap and I've ordered 2 panels One will have a door, so we can get out and we're also having 2 fixed windows for over the outside kitchen worktop.

Denny will come up again tomorrow, to do proper measurements. Takes about a month to make them, but he's off on holiday for 5 weeks in January, so should be done end of February/March and we have to pay half up front. So I need to sort out dosh from Jersey.

It's costing us 4,450 euros and that's cash, so no iva (vat)

To do the last bay would be another 2,000 euros and Grumpy doesn't think it's worth it. I will have to work on him

I sometimes order clothes from M&S, I like the ease of being able to pick them up in our local Simply Food store. That's mostly when they have a sale though and don't have whatever I want in the Stafford store.

I recently ordered some boots from Amazon, I wasn't sure of the sizing so took advantage of Prime Wardrobe and ordered two sizes, returned the one that didn't fit and only then did I have to pay for the pair that I'd kept.

I tend to do most of my Christmas shopping online now. I've bought some lovely scented candles as gifts from a company I found on Instagram, I've had some from them myself so know that they're good quality and they're not available in shops so are a bit different from the main brands.

Jen, I agree re bags when clothes shopping. It annoys me if I buy greetings cards too and have to buy a small bag to put them in. It's okay if they're wrapped in cellophane but not all are so get easily dirtied or damaged if put in with other shopping.

Bags over here are charged by at least 10 cents a bag. More in supermarkets. It really annoys me, when buying a birthday card, that I don't get a bag, as it can get creased in my rather copious handbag

Bizzarely, the chemist is now putting everything in paper bags and they look at me as if I'm a complete oddball, when I don't want a small packet put in a large paper bag

We always have some very strong bags in the boot of the car and use them for shopping.
