This one from your Council Tax office - as if!

You have a refund, just give us all your bank details PIN etc and the money is yours!

If you get the email with the above "From:" address don't even open it just delete it.

Just had a scam e-mail that our TV Licence renew direct debit had been declined and today was the last day our old licence was valid.

Totally fictitious licence number, total fictitious renewal date.

I had unfortunately opened it, but needless to say didn't click on anything, just deleted it and blocked the sender (FWIW).

Oh you mug, Ossie! I'm in the money.... again. I have just had one from the United Nations, yes, that United Nations.

Apparently I have been so plagued by Nigerian scams that an international fund has been set up to ease our pain. All I have to do is send $420 via Western Union and the UN will send me an upfront payment of $250,000.00 with the remainder of $4.2 million in the coming weeks - if I just fill out the form.

All the UN names mentioned in the email are legit and in the positions as claimed. What could possibly got wrong?

I'm in the money, I'm in the money.... ;)
