Good morning Ally and anybody else who is up and about.

Out shopping this morning. Will get fish from a van which comes on a Tuesday & Friday from Fleetwood. It does a good trade as there is onlyAsda which sells fresh fish.
When I was young there were several fish stalls in the old market before it was re-developed.
Then we are going dncing tonight.

Clouds, sun and showers forecast for today. But at least it's warm. Got rather hot yesterday afternoon, so hoping for the same today. Although the internet is sooooo slooooow It's taken me over half an hour, just to get here

Grumpy will be making hats for our more vulnerable plants as we're expecting very cold nights next week and we need to protect them from the frost. Frost? This early, dear me I'll be stripping the chicken carcases and making some chicken stock.

Then we're off to Ourique, as Grumpy has an appointment with the lung specialist. Will try and get our flu jabs too.

Pit stop at the bar then back for roast chicken

Into town this morning, for the walk, then up to share some soup with D, and to see how she's doing. She sounded ok on the phone last night, she'd been to her exercise class as usual and apparently everyone was lovely. It's a class for older people with lung conditions, and she's found it really helpful, and made some lovely friends

Good morning all, it is beyond miserable here, lashing rain - just the perfect day for me to do my Christmas shopping. I will be heading off shortly armed with my list, to a shopping centre about 35 minutes drive away. Edward is going to make mincemeat as it needs to “sit” for a week before being potted. Better tidy up before I go.

I'm planning to making a start at sorting all our stuff out ready for Thursday. Need to pop into town first though, not the ideal day to be out and about, it will have to be a quick trip.

It's dull and slightly raining here. so our usual Tuesday morning shopping trip was not very pleasant.

We have Osc's weather here too. Steady rain and cold, the damp cold that gets right into your bones.
We've got Fil's pension and winter fuel payment for him today and got a new bin for the kitchen.
Food is in, heating is on - that's it for today!
