When its cold, dark nd not nice, what's your comfort food?

Tonight, I cooked chicken, with bacon, white beans, garlic, mash and sweetheart cabbage.

Made us both feel warm, even if it's winter ish outside 8-)

Cottage pie with a creamy/cheesy potato topping, and peas. :D

Chicken casserole with lovely fresh crusty bread, and any left over bread gets buttered.

BTW I've just eaten one of those small individual Christmas pudding :D

It's got to be braised steak with onions done in the slow cooker with mash and cabbage and carrots
That's Sunday dinner sorted now I think

Shall we just call it a mixed fruit pudding then? :lol:

I've thought of another...mash, peas and parsley sauce.
