Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 05 Dec 2019, 06:41

Good morning.

Few clouds but mostly sunshine and forecast 19 degrees. 8-)

Usual two classes this morning then nipping to get a few bits from Primor.

Work 4 - 7 then meeting Don in the plaza as the Christmas lights are being switched on by our mayor. As it's a national holiday tomorrow (Constitution Day) and Dia de Immaculate Conception falls on Sunday there is a puente (bridging day) on Monday which basically means a 4 day holiday which basically means our town will be more crackers than usual!

After lights up we're going for a few beers and a bite to eat. :D :D

Have a great day.

Another lazy day for us, did think it was going to rain yesterday around lunch time, the clouds were very black, but they soon blew over.

Have a good day :D

Morning all :)

The Spanish know how to live well, don't they Ally? :D :D Enjoy! 8-)

Glad it didn't rain, Jen :)

I hope Osc gets good results today, and can come home ((((x))))

Ria, how is your mom doing? xx

It looks grey and cold here, a bit foggy! That might lift, with a bit of luck  D rang just now, her phone and net are down again! She's been having problems with it lately, so Mick is about to pop round to see if he can sort it out. I'm going shopping with her later this morning, but will walk round when I'm ready. Pilates tonight.xx

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Good morning all, it's quite bright here after a misty start. The light was beautiful this morning as I walked back with Billy, the sunrise was trying to break though the mist and everywhere was very, very pink.

John's not long left for work. He's making a site visit somewhere near Preston and was being picked up at 8am but the fella he's going with had a warning light appear on his car and needed to call into a garage so it delayed them by a couple of hours.

There's washing on the line, more in the machine and I'm waiting for a parcel delivery. It should apparently be here between 11 and 1.

Hoping for good news for Osc today!

Have a good day all!

Howdy all - sigh, a rather busy morning today and only now getting a chance for myself :D but it does make the day go by quick

Kaz, thank you so much for asking - mom is doing OK. I spoke to her on Tuesday evening and whilst she was sad she is quite pragmatic about everything. But you could hear she was tired; emotionally drained - and it's affecting her memory so she's worse than normal. Bless her; she's very aware of her memory loss and gets a tad frustrated with herself which is understandable. Post-It notes have become her best friend.

Haven't had the time to look for any Osc updates yet - hope all is as well as can be and she is coming home today?

Jen, I'd love a lazy day at home so enjoy it. Everything just seems such a rush all the time at the moment. Week days obviously at work and then weekends there just seems to be a never ending list of things to do / people to visit.
Ally enjoy the evening and the long weekend - have fun
Kaz, hope M gets the phone and internet sorted for D; they're actually both quite critical for her - being elderly and on her own.
Jan, I'm jealous - I also want t-shirt weather!
Jo, hope the parcel arrived

Well back to work for me now - just over two more hours to go then homewards bound; yay!!! :D

Have a lovely rest of day everyone x

His rates are very reasonable, Jan 8-) He thinks because of where the socket is, damp is getting in, so he's going to move it from its current position by the front door :ugeek: It's fixed, temporarily :ugeek:

((((Ria)))) it must be very hard for her x Xxx

Sadly, ours is more wifi stuff

A gorgeous, t-shirt day again 8-) 8-) Spent a lot of time outside and plan to do the same tomorrow, working on te garden. We moved a rose bush that didn't seem to happy where it was and just did outside stuff :Hi:

Fire now lit, I'm just about to put the stew on the top of the fire, will probably take an hour or so to warm up.

Hope Osc has had good news today x
