Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 21 degrees. 8-) 8-)

Off for a nice long yompette with my personal trainer.

When I get back I'm going to put my Christmas tree up...I've never put it up this early before but I just thought what the hell. :x :x

A day reading then off out tonight for Friday beers and tapas. :D

Have a great day.

Morning >Ally, morning everyone

Misty over the hills and valleys, but hoping for another warm day 8-)

More work to be done in the garden, once it warms up. I'll head down to the veggie plot and get rid of the weeds there. I noticed yesterday that we've got some onions growing in amongst the broad beans  Last years probably

Jose Felipe will be up with the eggs sometime today, so that will be something eggy for breakfast tomorrow :)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

The forecast yesterday promised rain in the afternoon and it didn't lie.  Rained on and off for the rest of the day and came down like stair rods around 10pm!!

Woken up to lovely  sunshine and the promise of 22 degrees.  We're planning to take a little stroll along the promenade later.

Hope you all have a good day and stay warm.

Good morning all, it's mild here but we've had a lot of rain overnight with more due later. I've just got back from walking Billy and it's so muddy again, it was yet again drying up nicely after a few dry days but we're back to square one again.

John's using up more holiday (it has to be taken by the end of the year) so we're heading off to the Black Country Museum shortly. We need to renew our annual passes and no doubt we'll have some of their wonderful fish and chips for lunch from the 1930s chippy. I love going at Christmas.

Not sure what else we're doing.

Hope Osc is feeling better today xx

Have a good day all!

Still weak and sore but I slept well. I am not fit for anything much other than sitting down or sleeping, so that’ll mostly be my day  I’ll have my shower soon and might manage to write some cards. Our tree is up as Michael and Kellie were to decorate it on Thursday. However, Kellie came down with the vomiting bug on Wednesday (apparently at about 4am she was wailing “but what about Grandad’s Christmas tree :o “). Now Michael and Miss Osc have it too and SIL is trying to cope as I can’t help and Edward has been told to stay away too in case it gets passed on to me. I only hope gets better before SIL starts it! So a quiet day for me.

I hope you feel better soon Osc.
Good afternoon. I have just dropped MrsC off at a local shopping centre for some retail therapy.
I read recently that gin helps you lose weight so in the interests of science I've bought a bottle
It's wet here but mild.
When I was working I had all these daydreams about retiring to the sun, but here I am sitting in a car park in Castleford in December!
Enjoy the rest of your day everyone.

I've had a regular week though I'm STILL not tip top. My cough is as bad as ever, but once I get the morning out of the way, I'm generally not too bad. I made my three days in work with a massive struggle... yesterday I was determined to go to Aquafit as I have missed two classes, I got there after coughing all the way in the car, and decided I was being silly to go in the water, so I arranged to meet the others after class for a coffee and did a Lidl shop. The natter was great and much needed!! Followed by a haircut, quite a lot off this time!! Think long bob rather than long hair.

Today I have had a usual day in Durham, my first in 3 weeks, and I enjoyed it but it was still an effort. Even managed to have a look round the new Range. Decided to put the tree up this aft, got all the lights on and plugged in - zilch!! Grrrr!!!! So no further forward. Soooo frustrating!!

Tom's just been to the GP after work, his knee is giving him jip again. He's been given co-codamol and is being referred for another Xray. He can barely weight bear on it, so even driving at work is hard.

Osc I was really sorry to hear about your bad reaction to the colonoscopy prep. Have you had any further results? Hope you can get some ease and feel better soon xx

Have a lovely evening all xx

Evening all :)

I'm a bit late to the party today, so will just send love to all, and hugs for those in need ((((((x))))))

Been a busy day, lots of walking - town and back, to the PO - then cleaning, giving the floors and Windows a good go, in particular, before we put the decorations up tomorrow :) Just cooked a chicken stir-get for dinner.

Have a good evening, everyone :) xxx

Good evening evrybody.
Went for a pedicure this morning. It is very good. Always have one before we go on holiday. Back home to do some housework before going back to pick up Mrs.e.
She had had aromatherapy. After lunch wentto the bank to change PIN for a new credit card I had received. Then had my hair cut. Had to wait ae there were three other customers waiting in the barbers. He is very good and always busy. Then to chemist to pick up prescriptions and walk home.
Managed to miss the rain.
Cromwell, We try to go to most places on the bus as we have free travel. Went to M & S yesterday. They have closed the original store which was in the centre of town and sold eveyrthing.
Now there is a new store at an out of town retail park only selling food. Did not like the layout and only two till to pay. So M & S is now off our shopping list.
Very different to Aldi If there is more than one cusatomer waitin at a till they immediately open another one.
Vibbes to everybody who needs them.
