Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 08 Dec 2019, 07:01

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 23 degrees. I know our winters are mild but it's ridiculous that I'm still kicking the duvet off in bed.

Off for a long walk then back to chill and relax. We had a lovely day in Malaga yesterday, Santa Don nipped into Pandora whilst I browsed in the Body Shop. (I adore their cleansing balm :) ) and we had a sardine and whitebait lunch right on the beach. It'll be nice to just stay at home today. :)

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Another lovely, sunny morning. Will be t-shirt weather again later 8-)

Will be skyping with some friends this morning. Two years ago, he was given 6 months to live and he's still with us. Bizarrely, the tumours have disappeared and we'll find out this morning how he is now, as they had more tests done recently.

Then I'm off to do the digging up of the weeds I didn't do yesterday. Grumpy said I should leave it until our new neighbours move in and tell them it's their responsibility

And day one of me not drinking beer   It's just not agreeing with me recently, so will give it a miss 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Looks like we're in for another sunny day :D

We had planned a day in Puerto Mogan, apparently the harbour is very pretty, but I had one too many last night   so a quiet day by the pool is probably the wisest move

Have a good day and stay warm :D

Morning all :)

Ally, 23° sounds fantastic, duvet or no duvet! 8-)

Jan, what's happened to your friend sounds similar to Mick's friend Doug - spontaneous remission :? That's brilliant :D

Jen, Becky is also nursing a hangover this morning  Hope you have a nice, quiet day :)

Busy one planned here, still nipping out for a cuppa and the papers, but then we'll be putting up the decorations :D I need some holly for my front hanging basket, so we might pop round to D's for that.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

I felt much better last night, gone back a bit so far today :o But I do intend to at least walk up to the shops to get some air.

It’s a bright morning here with occasional showers. Santa is due to turn on the lights on our local tree at 5pm so I hope the weather doesn't get any worse. Another easy day planned, knitting, and I might get around to the Christmas cards

Morning all. We're having the landing, stairs, sitting room and kitchen painted starting tomorrow so today we have to to a bit of cleaning and move some furniture. And MrsC has hurt her arm picking Eliza up. It was bound to happen.
We are going for a pub lunch today with sister in law which should be nice.
A gusty wind here but quite mild and it has stopped raining now.
Have a good day all.

eta, take it steady, Osc.

Cream crackered, that was two hours hard graft :o and I've got more to do  but had to give up, due to a blister  - any excuse  Plus, it was very hot and although I stripped off to a sleeveless t-shirt, I was still glowing  My hat kept the sun off my head, but I was leaking.

Grumpy came down to help, on the other side of the fence and we decided he can strim the rest, I'll just finish off near the fence another day.

Will have a couple of beers later, having camomile tea now and it's clouded over too

Enjoy your pub lunch Crommers :D

Osc I have been wondering how you were, sorry you are still feeling below par, hopefully the fresh air will help xx

I'm still incredibly 'chesty' and coughing loads. I think I'm going to return to the Drs, although she did say it could last three weeks, and it's only two since I saw her, I think I may need some ABs this time.

I put our tree up yesterday, it feels late to me because Donna put theirs up on November 18th!!! It's quite a sense of achievement as it's a bit of a chore, I'm SO OCD with decorations you'd never believe!! So that's a job ticked off. We went Christmas shopping yesterday with Lily, she didn't want to go to her other gran's with her brother and dad, and mum was at work, so she came with us. Darlington put on a show, there was a miniature train tootling from one end of the high street to the other, FREE! So we had a go on that...there were two ladies dressed as Christmas trees on stilts walking about, ice sculptures, snow machines, a busy outdoor market - excellent!!

Just had a really lazy day today, long lie in, and then a walk round a local park with a hot latte and some Bakewell cake at the end :D Sunshine and squally showers....oh well at least it hasn't snowed yet!

Kaz hope B feels better now!! The photos you posted are fab, she looks sooooooo good!! :)
