Had an e-mail this afternoon, to say that our new passports are on their way

I posted them last Monday

I was amazed at the speed I got mine too Jan and how informed I was kept.

I applied online whilst at dad's (the easiest official form ever! It took 5 minutes flat to complete.) Phone pinged to say it was being processed. Sent my old passport to Belfast the day after I got back to Spain on the 10th August. (It expired on the 14th!! ) then phone pinged again on the 20th to tell me UPS were on their way with my shiny new one.

Very impressed.

A 22 year old local girl was killed in a traffic accident yesterday. Her father is in the GNR in Ourique. So sad for them, especially this time of year.

The IC1 has at least one serious accident every week, more in thee summer

That's so sad Jan; terrible any time of year but just seems so much worse so close to Christmas. Condolences to the family
