Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 11 Dec 2019, 06:52

Good morning.

Another sunny day and forecast 20 degrees. It says that but it gets way warmer than that. Think I would've jumped into the pool yesterday if I'd had the chance. 8-)

Off for a walk ending up at the hairdressers at 10am. I do this every 4 weeks and it just seems to come round so quickly! :)

Back to happily pootle, face pack, nail painting and reading. :D

Have a great day.

Good morning lly and anybody else who is up.

It is cold and there is a clear sky. The rain and wind has stopped.
Going shopping and posting two small parcels-not presents so no rush. Just getting them away before we go on holiday tomorrow.

Then we will finish packing.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning Ally, enjoy the sun! Have a great holiday Cruiser.
Not much on here. MrsC and her sister are going to their dads. I'm off to do a bit of shopping, I may get a couple of presents.
Clear and cold here atm. Last night a branch fell off one of the trees opposite, it looks about five feet long! Not too thick or heavy though, thank goodness.
Have a good day all.

Morning everyone

Dull and grey start, although the sun is trying to get through.

Off to Ourique later, pick up some prescriptions, get my new spray :D so the shopping and I need a pair of shoes  I have trainers, flip flops and sandals, but no shoes  and I need some to wear on Christmas Day. My trainers are black and would fit in with what I'm wearing, but not really :? :? 8-)

Stop at the bar opn the way back for coffee and to collect the rolls.

After that, not a clue, will see what we feel like doing xx

Morning all, it's sunny and frosty here.

Bill's had his walk, poor thing didn't get out yesterday with the weather the way it was so he made up for it first thing. The Tesco delivery is coming between 11 and 12 and there's an Amazon delivery coming too. The bedding is blowing about on the line and there's another wash just finishing up.

Tonight we're off to the Odeon to watch four episodes of Friends. They're showing them this week due to it being 25 years this year since the show first started and we're big Friends fans so thought it'd be nice to see it on a big screen.

Have a good day all :)

Morning all :)

Another sunny day here.

We enjoyed a little trip into Puerto Morgan yesterday. The shuttle bus drops off a little way out so it's a fair walk to the marina. Luckily there are plenty of benches along the way so there was quite a lot of sitting along the way. It's a lot smaller than we expected and there wasn't a lot going on, it's more a tourist trap really, but it was nice to sit and people watch.

A lazy day by the pool beckons.

Have a good day :)

Greetings all - a lovely sunny dry day (for now) but they're expecting it to get cold again tonight. Put extra bedding into the chicken coop and fluffed it all up so hope they'll be nice and warm. At least I don't have to worry about ice on the windscreen tomorrow morning - the car is at the station and I'll be cabbing it home tonight and back to the station tomorrow morning. It's our office Christmas party tonight, but can't stay too late - the train strike means the last train home is about 2 hours earlier than usual. Causes havoc for people who work in the entertainment industry esp this time of year where it's more later evenings. They just can't get home and have to rely on either hotels or friends to stay. I really feel for them. Some are managing to claim the money back from the train company but the claims are taking ages to sort and they're left out of pocket at a time when it's really not helping.

Have a lovely day all and hope you get everything done that you're doing x

A sudden rain squall made us think about not even going out, but after an hour, it brightened up, although still blowing a hooley

Why oh why can't I get shoes that fit? I'm a size 7 and the shoes I tried on, even though they said 7, were 6, if that  So trainers or flip flops it will be

Will be slicing, dicing and cubing the chicken breasts for various meals, before they get lost in the freezer

Hope the poorlies are better today xx

Afternoon everyone :)

Ally, mine could do with a trim soon - my hair still grows really quickly! Have a nice pootle xx

Have a good day, Cruiser :)

Happy pressie shopping, Crommers ;)  xx

Hope you find some shoes Jan 8-)

Enjoy your Friendsathon, Jo :D

Jen, your holiday sounds so lovely and relaxing :)

Ria, that is really hard on those people, I agree :o Hope you're having a good birthday xx

Well, my usual "date" for Wednesday morning - my friend Jenny, from WW ;) - couldn't make it today, so I took a chance on Jo (the manager, and my old boss) being in Osprey, and caught the bus down to the Quays - I've had my eye on a lovely man's weekend bag, for Chris, and she always puts stuff through for me on staff discount ;) Luckily she was, so that's my very last present bought now! :D

It was raining when I'd finished, so I got the bus back as well :? Not too many steps gained towards my 10,000 but I'm fed up with getting wet!

There seems to be glitter all over the carpet in here, almost certainly off of the plug-in lit-up "presents" I bought as part of our decorations - they look lovely, but.... :?

Enjoy the rest of your day everyone :) xxx
