My poor little pinky. Update.

Postby Workingman » 25 Mar 2013, 18:32

I was taking a pizza out of the oven when the outside of my little finger, right on the joint, caught the oven rack. Of course it came up in a blister, which I tried and tried to protect, but as always happens it burst. I covered it in Savlon and a plaster but it still went all acky.

I have been to the surgery nurse just now and she had to clean it up - v. painful.

It is now sat in a sort of sock and I have to go back on Thurs to have it looked at. If it hasn't started to clear up or has gone green again its anti-biotics and a telling off.

Aww, poor pinky :D
I'm sure you know what you should have done...straight under the cold tap, running hard, for a good few minutes until it goes numb. Then wrap it in clingfilm - Bb made me do that the only time I had a burn and it works brilliantly :)
Too late now of course... :D

Hope you don't have to have a nursey telling-off :)
