I had to check the day and date!

Sunshiney sunniness again.

Off for a 10km walk/run then back to get some exam papers ready - over the weekend a student informed me she'd matriculated for her B2 exam which she's taking on the 9th and 11th January. I told her to pop round a few mornings this week and we can crash some extra tuition in. I'll give her a listening mock exam and prepare some other papers for her to do at home and I can mark.

This afternoon we're off to the joy that is Carre Four.

TV and chill tonight.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Lovely, sunny morning but rather chilly at the moment. At the back of the house, it's 6C , at the front, it's 28C

Washing machine on and I'm having a day off the weeding. The drive is on a slope and my back, knees and muscles in my thighs are telling me I'm getting a little older

So, the day will be vacuuming and mopping the floor, cleaning the bathrooms (why I call them that, I have no ida, we don't have a bath in the house ) and then I'll make the two hot salads for tomorrow night. I might have time to make a stew for later in the week, but I also need to prep for tonights dinner. I was so knackered yesterday, I didn't do our Sunday dinner, we just finished the curry off, with chips

Bright and sunny again today

Not a lot happening here, we're popping out to the Manston Tesco later, don't need a lot, mainly fresh fruit and veg. Oh the excitement

Salads done, dinner prepped and I ignored the dust, just swept the floors and cleaned the bathroom. That took me all morning and I've just sat down.

It's glorious at the moment, too hot to sit out in it but you need a cardi or jacket on the back terrace. Hope that changes when we get the glass curtains

Afternoon all!

It's a bright, cold day here, so I've walked to town, walked round town, walked up to see D, walked to the GP surgery to drop her prescription in, then walked home. The theme for today has been walking - some much-needed exercise after Christmas

I'm about to scrub and peel the very large box of veg that B got from work, soup making is
on the agenda, as soon as I've finished this cuppa

Evening all, I’ve been out and about today. I had bits and pieces to do at home, then was meeting a friend for lunch. She lives in Spain and I had not seen her for a while, so plenty to catch up on. I got home around 4.30pm. No plan for the evening.
