Doreen's friend makes it and she very kindly gave me a jar - oh my goodness, it is DELISH but I dread to think how many points per serving :o :oops: :lol: :lol:

Jo it is lovely, cloudier in texture than the shop bought, but oh so scrummy. I was told it would make a fab sauce for ice cream but I daren't even think about that :shock: :lol:

I used to make it from time to time, and I agree it really is lovely on fresh bread and butter :D

That's very much like my receipe that I use, only I don't add cornflour, and cook it longer to make jam.

I'm going to pick some lemons off the tree here before I leave as they are very tart lemons and make the most relish lemon honey (as I call it). My MIL has specifically requested it for Mother's Day this year.
